I'm glad you posted this, Glenda - I was going to as well. I think of Rachelle every time I hear Cinco de Mayo now! And it's also my best friend's anniversary, so ... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

yea - as long as your passport matches what your travel is booked under, that's all that's important! i recently had to travel under a really old name (my 1st married name) because of the voucher i was using for the ticket was earned with that name. anyway, i just used my passport, which was still in that old name. you can make up any name you want to travel under, as long as you haev the id to match!

I don't know about other states, but in MN at least, the SS card and DL aren't linked at all - you can change one w/o the other, and change either of them first.

I didn't have any guilt at all actually - if they didn't want to/couldn't spend the money, then they didn't have to go. Maybe I am selfish - but that's how I saw things. Honestly, most of my friends used our wedding as an excuse to take a vacation, we only had positive responses to our choice of a DW, and not only that, but most people are now planning an annual group vacation because they had so much fun!

that's awful -and stupid on their part! i used vista print for mine, and i screwed up (yes, ME!) and they replaced the order at no charge (other than shipping). and now i use them for other things since i had such a positive experience!

as a newly prego girl who didn't know this beforehand - be sure you don't just buy a flowy regular dress. like that brown style that Morgan posted above may fit her, but the you need it to be longer in front because the larger belly requires more fabric and will lift the front up! i thought i could wear all of these non-maternity shirts i had before getting prego - but nope! they're all too short in front now!

I am not supposed to travel at 34 weeks, so assuming she just found out recently, she should still be able to travel in Oct - that's only 5 months away. But it would probably be a good idea to talk to her! Fun!

We didn't have a rehearsal, so it wasn't a "rehearsal dinner" but we did invite everyone to what we called the Welcome Dinner - so I agree with you.

Oh you know me too well, Rachel! I brought out the spreadsheet, saw who was married when, and searched for their reviews! HA!

I usually do send a gift even if I am not going, and sometimes even a bigger gift that I would if I were actually attending. However, I usually know the person pretty well! lol Is she the type to just fish for gifts? That's strange!

......... Nrvsbride (Glenda) !!!! CONGRATULATIONS !!!! Glenda lost a whopping %16.562 in the last 8 weeks! She will receive the total jackpot, which is $213.96 ... not bad for a weight loss program! I am also going to give a larger amount of points to the top 3 people - YAY for points! Winner: 250,000 points 2nd Place: 150,000 points 3rd Place: 100,000 points Everyone did great in this program, and I can't wait for Season II! I don't have all of the final weights, but for what I do have ... the group lost a total of 146.2 lbs (5.079%). YAY EVERYONE!!!!
