Sorry, I just read this thread now, so I am a little late! First off, you're all very welcome! I actually have a lot of fun watching everyone support eachother, and seeing everyone meet their goals. Once I had my little spreadsheet created, it's as simple as plugging in the numbers you all send me each week. I've updated the first post with the current list of participants - there are 25 so far! That's huge ... and the jackpot is $375! That list is based off of who I've received money from so far. I know a few of you have said there is a check in the mail - no problem, I will add you to the list when I get the check. But be sure to send me your weigh-ins TODAY if you haven't already! I've also had a couple people try to pay on PayPal via credit card - I don't accept those, sorry! So I've had to deny a couple - and I've let you know via PM. Hopefully you can find another method of payment! I've had a few last minute requests to join ... ABSOLUTLEY! But you do need to get me your weight (w/a picture) today. Honestly, it's more important to me that I get the weigh-ins on time so that everyone starts from the exact same point in time. As long as I receive the payment soon (within the week, let's say) I think we're ok to add a few more people. The way I look at it - if I don't have the payment by the end of the competition, you can't win! So with that said, the list could grow by a few more people by the end of the week. another problem is that we don't have anything to compare it to. like they say "if something feels not normal" - well, what the hell is normal? it's not normal for me to feel a living human moving around in me! lol

the problem i've found is that they tell you all these things to look for, and if any of them happen, to let them know - like decreased baby movement, change in blood sugars (in my case), constant pain in one area, etc. - so you're watching for all of that, and it makes you almost paranoid! most of the time it's nothing, and then you (or i do anyway) feel like an ass for calling. ugh. 9 more weeks! lol

Amy - I hear ya on the big baby fear - as if we diabetics don't have to go through enough, we also get a huge baby (well, I am Type I, but same consequences!)! Hang in there! Glad everyone is doing well, despite some discomfort. That's probably my biggest complaint now too - I have a hard lump in my side and my upper left belly, I think one is a butt and one is the head. But we will find out on Friday for my 30 week checkup. I will have weekly appointments from here on out - woohoo! That baby won't be able to do much w/o me knowing about it. Except I will skip next week, since I will be in CA (not looking forward to that 4 hour flight!), and then AZ to visit my mom. Oh, and I broke a toe yesterday - which makes walking really fun. I had a little waddle going, now I also limp. Paul calls me Igor!
