I have over half of the weigh-ins and everyone is doing great. Once I get all of them, or by tomorrow morning at the latest, I will post the weekly winners and hand out the weekly winner carrot! lol FYI - I send out an email on Tue. to remind people to send in their weights (other than 1 person who I don't have an email address for). I just use the email address you used to PayPal me, so if you're not getting it, and want to - just let me know what email address to use! Or if you DON'T want the email - just let me know that too. YAY! This season is off to a great start. Good job everyone!

same thing here, Rachel - we weren't going to register at all, or have a shower. but my in-laws insisted, and then we were told we should register so people knew what to give us! so we did. ugh. but not everyone got us a gift, thank goodness!

typically this is put in the shower invites, or just by word of mouth - often by the people throwing your shower. i think it's considered rude to put it in the wedding invite. (not that i'd care, but the Emily Post type people do!) lol

i must have got lucky! when we showed up with the one taxi full of the girls going early, Nicole was there to meet us so we never had to look for anything. then i didn't hear of any issues with the rest of the group either, but they all arrived by pre-arranged bus together, except for 2 other couples.

ugh - i was so happy it was over. but i am not a planner, so i was just happy i was done and married. but i also was really busy at work, in a relatively new house, and then got knocked up about 6 months later! lol but i have heard of brides say that, that they missed all of the planning. not me!

I am wondering if it was a language barrier or something, ya know? Like, why would the pilot ever say the passenger couldn't sit in the jump seat because it was against policy, but he had to sit in the toilet. Ya know? I'd put money on a misunderstanding that went horribly wrong - but we'll see!

Everyone is doing great this week! I've updated the first post with the list of participants, and the total jackpot amount .... $450!! There's some motivation for you all! ButlerGirl08 (Alex) is joining in on the fun, but since she joined late and didn't pay the fee in time she isnt' eligible to win. But she's part of the group for the support and motivation. And as you all probbaly know, RiuBride2b had to drop out since her weight will only be going up for the next 9 months - since she's pregnant! YAY! But she still paid the fee, and chose to leave it in the pot for the winner. This is going to be a great season!

I've been on 3 - all a while ago, and all to the carribean, but on 3 different lines. I don't remember much, but here's what I can recall. Celebrity: This was my favorite (it was my 1st honeymoon), the food was better, and they really catered to a luxury vs. "party" atmosphere. Carnival: The food wasn't nearly as good (but edible), and just not as "nice" as Celebrity. Definitely caters to the party crowd more than the "high class" crowd. Still had a great time though! Royal Carribean: this was somewhere in between the two. I'd go on any of them again, but it would probably depend on WHY I am going - since I usually tend towards the "luxury" option I'd probably do Celebrity or RC again before I did Carnival.
