  1. FYI - I told the eBay seller that they'd likely be getting a handful of orders from this forum - so let them know where you heard of it, maybe they'll be willing to work out a deal! Just an idea ...
  2. Let us know how it turns out! I used the palm tree and other starfish on my STDs. Then I wanted something for an insert I was creating in black and white, so I found the other starfish. I am all over teh place! I will probably just keep using these three so there is somewhat of a theme! I'd love to see how your monogram turns out.
  3. FYI - I just heard back from the "stafish person" about colors of starfish - here was the response ... Hello, Currently I only have these three colors available. There are other, larger starfish in light blue and white that I will be posting shortly. Please refer to eBay Store - Florida Shells and Gifts: Craft Shells, Specialty Shells, Bulk Craft Shells for updates, I will also keep you updated about new items. Thanks again and Enjoy Stefan
  4. I just ran across this bit of info. on The Knot - apparently there is a knottie id set up just to sell dresses! If you look for the knottie id "DressesForSale" you will find it - and it has dresses that people are trying to sell. Not a huge list of options - but worth checking out to see if your dream dress is on there!

The glass and the starfish are from the same eBay store, so you could combine shipping to save money too. I think this might be the same as Tammy's, but here's where I found the jewelry: Star Fish Bridal Jewelry Accessory - MyWeddingAccessories.com

I didn't see any in green, at least not with the blue, red, and tan ones - those were all the starfish I saw. They have little, tiny tan ones too. I was looking for green too, since blue and green are my colors. I can ask the seller - if she dyes them, she might be able to do green as well. I'll let you know what I find out.
  7. Christine, you're putting the rest of us moderators to shame! I better get busy, I haven't seen very many new PV brides lately nor have I seen too many new reviews or sites. Thanks for the motivation, Christine!

  9. Agreed, Jackie - my 5'4" body can't handle a huge train even if I wanted one!
  10. FYI - here is the red version, and "tan." eBay: Starfish Dyed Red - 100pcs - Bulk - Small (item 240000235346 end time Jan-07-07 13:06:08 PST) eBay: Starfish Tan - Bulk 100pcs - Shellcraft -up to 1 1/4" (item 230063601421 end time Jan-08-07 22:39:17 PST)
  11. daaaaang - hadn't thought of that! now i really think i'll be going barefoot!
  12. I am thinking of doing the same thing, just scattering them around the tables.
  13. Linda - we'd love to see pictures of your dress! We're photo-junkies here!
  14. Great information, Christine! Thanks for taking the time to do this.
  15. I've heard nothing but amazing things about this resort! And the WC told me there are plenty of less expensive alternatives around for those that were on a budget. Tammy (host) - should we start a S. Cal thread?
  16. I am getting married in PV, so I can't help much with the Cabo specific questions. However, I am getting married off site from where everyone is staying - we're getting married at a private beach that is only accessible via a 45 min boat ride! So getting married off site will require some additional work and coordination, but it is doable. Then we're having a welcome dinner at the resort where (I hope) we get people to stay.
  17. Congrats, Christine! I think Napa is an absolutely beautiful place, and would be a great wedding location. I can't wait to hear more about what you find!
  18. As Christa said, I plan on doing the ceremony barefoot, and then flipflops or a very small heel for afterwards. I do have a smallish train on my dress and would really like to wear it down as well, since the detail on it was half the reason I bought the dress! It's pretty light, and I know some sand will get on it, but hopefully it won't cause me any issues. I do have nightmares about it getting stuck on the runner thing I will be walking on and snagging, or pulling me down, but I assume that's just me being a worrysome bride! Any married gals with advice or calming words?

Christine - those are all Clip Art! It was super easy, it really walks you through the process. I actually stumbled a little while doing my STDs on Vista Print, but this was much easier. For the stamps, it just has you upload a picture or whatever, then you can center it or size it to how you want. You can also change the border color, and maybe a couple other options. Let me know if you need more help - I'd be happy to!
  20. Thanks! I just showed Paul, he had no idea I ordered them a couple weeks ago ... he rolled his eyes. Men just don't get it!
  21. I like the chairs (I was looking at those too!), or the shells.
  22. Let us know how these turn out - this is something i definitely want to do, I even have this link saved in my favorites, I just haven't started the process yet!
  23. Good lord, can ya'll tell I don't want to work today!? I'm not getting anything done, but just looking for fun things to do for the wedding. Now that the big, stressful stuff is done (location, dress, photog., etc.) I get to focus on the fun stuff!
  24. So i just ordered some stamps from here, and I should be getting them this week. I'll let you all know how they turn out. Here's a picture of what I ordered ...
  25. for those sand dollars, I've seen some girls write names on them and use them as place cards. or you could just put little inspirational sayings on them and place them on the table or something.
