LOVE the dress! it looks so festive, and colorful - and smokin' hot! all at the same time too - and that's not easy!

i say you enjoy yourself at the bachelorette party, and then do what you have to do to get through the shower. it's their fault they didn't talk to you about this - that's just plain ol' inconsiderate, and they have no right to be upset if you're all tired and cranky.

my Cindy Crawford workout video does a lot of arm stuff. it's the basics, like curls, reverse curls, push ups, tricep bends, etc. if it were me, I'd buy a video, i'm much better at following instructions than i am at coming up with a workout of my own!

Thanks, Jenetta - I think that will be my mission next weekend. I also know that White Chicago sells veils - so I'll check that out too. Thanks everyone! I know I can find something, it's just a matter of doing it - and I guess I have plenty of time if I don't go the designer route.

i am running out the door - so sorry for being so short, but ... yes, this is very common w/many dress shops. they don't want you going in and taking pictures, then go and have a replica dress made. other than David's Bridal and some of the "once wed" places, i don't know of any place that will let you take a picture. it sucks when you're dress shopping and want to show pictures to those that couldn't shop with you! i was asked for the designer and style number, then i was able to find mine online - is that an option? honestly, if this $750 dress is THE dress, and you can afford it (cut back elsewhere?) - i say go for it! make sure YOU love the dress too, not just that everyone else loved it. you don't want to regret buying a dress you don't love just to save a little $$ - this is your day, you're the bride!

i did use the iron-on transfers, they're pretty easy to use. yea - we played with font a bit - and couldn't quite match the monogram from Aylee. heck, i should just ask Aylee what she used!

Ok, I said thsi was going to be my weekend activity - and I started! Here are some photos - they're a lot like the other girls pictures! And for the flowergirls - not 100% I like this, I was going to get them a smaller bag - but I think I have extra of these.

Jill - I think I might look into having it made, I just dont' have a great picture! I will probably go to a few stores first, just to see if there's anything I can find. Like I said, I literally haven't looked at all. If I can't find anything, I may go to a craft store and see if I can at least find something for the trim I like. I don't care THAT much about the veil - but I want something I like,and that goes w/the dress. No way am I paying $500 - cna't do it!

sarah - that is awesome, i am so proud of you. and your post couldn't have come at a better time. i tried my dress on again today at the salon (it should come in in April). i just wasn't happy w/how i looked it in. so - on the positive side, i am using it as motivation to get my ass in gear. no more excuses. the tough part is being on the road all the time, but i can make it work!

thanks Anny - I will check this place out. i told them i'd think about it - and call back by the end of Feb. i just can't justify paying that much - and i will only wear the veil for like 30 min!
