lol - have they asked you WHY you want this? random question. was your divorce a "friendly" divorce? seems like it must have been, but thought i'd ask. mine definitely was - we're still friends! i know sarah's wasn't - and understandably so!

My mom's dress was a knee-length, simple dress - I probably could have worn it! But since my parents are divorced, not sure that it's quite the memory I'd hoped!

Wow - great idea though. There's a local woman's shelter close to us - I wonder if anyone there would want it. Oh well, may as well try. Nov. 14th

I still have mine! I've wanted to sell it or donate it to a bride who would use it, but never knew how w/o taking it out of the "special" packaging it's been in. Now at least I can scan pictures. My hopes of it going to a bride aren't very high though - not sure if anyone would want it for an actual wedding. I'll see if I can find a pic of the back. I had SOO many pictures from my photographer, I am sure I do. SOOOO many!

I am not using my colors too much since I am not having a bridal party or much for decor, but I will use them in invites and STDs, on the website, etc. My colors are blues and greens, w/a hint of fucshia (I can never spell that). I think so too - and I am so excited! After my divorce, I had always thought that IF I got married again, I've love to have it on the beach somewhere. When Paul and I got serious, I really never thought that would happen. He's from a fairly conservative, Irish Catholic family, and he's the baby. He is also pretty traditional with a few things - and I thought for sure his wedding would be one of them. That and he loves to please his parents - who, of course, want him married in their Catholic church. Anyway - needless to say, I was more than excited when he also wanted to get married on a beach somewhere. Whew - I got lucky! I totally would have done it, but in my heart I would have wanted this kind of wedding. YAY!

i did - i was married in Nov and it was COLD! very traditional.

definitely heard of them - not sure i've ever flown them though.

Ok, now remember that this was 1998 - but that's still not much of an excuse. And I really did want a new dress after I had already bought this one. But I just couldn't justify it at the time! Anyway - this is my dress from my first marriage. I only scanned the b&w photos, so they're not the best. Your turn, TammyM!

right - we are saying "Ann & Paul, together with their families, invite you ..." we wanted to mention families, but since we're paying, we weren't going to say that the parents were inviting. ya know? it's more about who is "hosting" the event

Honestly, I've found most of my stuff online and really haven't had the need for an organizer. I've filed and organized all on my computers!

I thought about organizing a golf outing for those that were interested in PV, but we've really decided not to organize any group events outside of the WD and Wedding itself. But - I thought it would be nice to put some nice golf course options on our website. Problem is - I don't know any! Do any of you have any recomendations, or "stay away from" tips? Thanks!

That was a great letter to read - I loved it! I love the part about how the parents spent their 25th anniversary there, and that's how you found the place. What a great story!

I am just letting Nicole arrange for transportation for me - I think it's $12/person round trip. She said it's a luxury bus. I assume this is for the boat to Las Caletas anyway! This is my question to Nicole, and her answer from a recent email: 3) What do we need to do to organize transportation from/to Dreams and the Marina where we catch the boat? Is that something we organize through you, or do I do this on my own? We can book this on your contract now and I arrange for it closer to the date. I will organize it for you - the cost is $12USD per person and that includes the $15peso port tax that everyone needs to pay before entering the pier. It is a luxury tour bus and it is a roundtrip price.

I totaly want to come to your wedding and be a guest, just to see what it was like at my wedding as a guest! lol I am jealous that you get a site visit - I can't wait to hear, since I am not doing one. This is too funny ... let me know if you wnat to buy my dress too! Now THAT would be funny!
