So I was checking out some of Sol Tamargo's since she just sent out an email about her recent awards w/the WPJA ([AG]WPJA: Artistic Wedding Photojournalism : Fine Art Wedding Photography). I noticed that one of the girls in a winning photo was wearing my dress! Why this is exciting, I don't know. But it is. So I asked her if I could see the whole wedding - and she sent me the link to the slide show. Here's my dress of a very beautiful bride! I just hope I can pull it off half as well as she did! not sure i agree! and when i went home w/them, paul refused to talk to me until i took those "spiders" off of my eyes. i won't be getting those again! lol -he hated them. good thing you can't see them really well in the photos!

i like it - don't think everything has to be beacy to fit into your wedding! i think it looks great.

any bank will have a notary. and they might even have one at the airport - i'd think so.

i don't think she got fake eyelashes for the bd shoot - whereas i had to! and sarah didn't have to either - the girl doing makeup told her she didn't need them. b*tch. (that's just jealousy speaking, i mean that in the nicest possible way)

That gives me such a great idea of how the day will go - thank you so much! And we are debating NOT doing that site visit the week before we're there. At this point, I wasn't sure what the use would be, and I almost like the idea of it being a surprise to me as well! So were the fire dancers worth it to you? I want to get these - but just wanted to get your opinion. LOVELY pictures - thanks again for sharing!

Thanks so much, Ali! So you got a DVD with that $575 package? On the website it almost reads as though you get a VHS tape, and you have to get one of the additional packages to get a DVD. Did he put it to music and everything?

i do want to say - don't be afraid of the bling! one think i liked about the dress I got is that it did have a little sparkle to it - i like a little bling, especially on my wedding day! if you're a sparkle girl - then go for it!

i know - and since i am not doing much for the wedding, i really don't wnat to do too much for the WD. and really, i just don't wnat to deal w/planning it either!

lmao - right - like the beach wedding to an older, scottish, divorced, lutheren girl from MN hasn't already pushed Paul's conservative Irish Catholic parents close enough to the edge! heck - i may as well push them all the way! i think we're doing the mexican theme dinner as well. maybe i will ask paul what he thinks about a mariachi band for the WD. not sure i'll need it though - but it might be fun. we're having a bonfire and fire dancers on the wedding night - so those are out.

I've never sold it to a consignment shop - but have always wanted to try that for some things. When I moved to Chicago I had this charity that picked up donations come and get a bunch of stuff - I think it was the Lupus foundtaion - but I just liked that they came and got it! I donated a couple small bags of clothes to a womens shelter in Chicago - it was on Grand Ave, not too far west of Noble. I asked about mens stuff too - and they said they have a partner shelter for the men, and they could bring it over there. That's typically how I donated things. Paul did donate to the Salvation Army recently - there was one downtown I think, or close. Let me know if you want any more info.!

when you put it that way - we all sound crazy! but if you would have asked me if i'd get 90% naked in front of strangers i met online and let one of them take pictures, you're right, i would have said no way! i am so happy for you two! since you didn't live together before, where did you move to?
