Welcome! I am getting married at Las Caletas, but am staying at Dreams PV and having my welcome dinner there. What Tammy said is true - the WC has been awful, but I am just planning a dinner, so am just kind of winging it with that, and we're not doing much extra. Dang - I was thinking this offer was for April or May - looks like I was wrong. Honestly, you could try asking any of the photographers on this forum that you like if they're available - it can't hurt to ask! You want to know the truth? I just made that design in Excel - yes, a spreadsheet! Then I was able to save it off as a pdf - then uploaded that design to Vista

Now that i've got my veil, getting my shoes is next on the list. What do you think of these 2 (be honest!) ... I want something simple, w/a little "bling" but not too much. And a heel less than 1" since I got my dress measured to barefoot height.

i don't think there are any rules to be followed. my RSVP date is only 1 month (just a little over), but that's because that's when i need to give my final head count 30 days in advance. i think you can do whenever you want - most people will know if they're planning on making the trip by then.

i have to admit, i really struggled with mine. i actually ordered 2 batches before i got it right - but they only charged me for 1 - they were great. i finally figured it out, but i called them for help once, and they were able to really walk me through it, and even touched it up for me while we were on the phone.

wow. i can handle humidity, but that's disgusting!

same here. we have way more than we'd ever need to furnish a house. we originally didn't plan on registering at all. but then when FMIL and FSIL insisted on throwing me a shower, I knew people, especially the "older" generation, would want to buy gifts. so then we decided to register for a few things. we mostly did "upgrade" stuff, or the fun, decorative stuff you don't often buy for yourself. we figured these people were going to buy us a gift anyway, we may as well give them some ideas. i was really against registering, but we were talked into it. we still say we don't expect gifts, but if they insist, here are some ideas ...

So I bought this dress thinking it would work for my day-after shoot, or trash the dress session. I have decided to look for something lighter and more "flowy," which is why I am going to sell this one. It still has the tags on it - and other than trying it on 2 times, it's never been worn! I bought it for $74.99 + $5.25 (plus shipping) and wouldn't mind just getting my money back, but may end up selling it for less. I am also going to post on Craig's List and see what happens. I also bought this dress - I couldn't pass it up! I don't know if it will be my WD dress, my "secret" wedding dress (on our honeymoon in Hawaii) or just a cute dress to wear in Mexico. Excuse the crappy picture - it was the easiest way to get a picture of myself!
