yea - i can't imagine doing that to someone. if nothing else, you have to know she will spread the bad news, and he will likely lose business!

yea - paul talked to the owner upstairs, and he isn't fighting us at all. which is good - we just need to get moving and get this done! our insurance agent is paul's best friend - and he actually just stopped by for a whole seperate reason - and gave us some advice. so we're all good. this just couldn't be worse timing! oh, and we get our first call from someone who is interested in renting the place - she called this morning! fabulous. yea, here, rent our place, don't mind the gaping hole in the ceiling.

i would LOVE to do this, but they would take up so much room in the luggage. and then people would have to bring them back - not sure they'd have room either!

that's it - i heard a news special about mail problems in MI. it's awful. it's especially affecting wedding invites. dang our luck.

yikes! well, remember we move in 2.5 weeks - if i let insurance handle this, i'd never get it done fast enough! i am hoping to be able to cancel my travel plans and work from home next week too just so i can be here when any workers need to come in.

i'm a fan of tipping when it's deserved. like if you asked me right now if i'd be tipping Marilu from Dreams PV - hell no, she has barely communicated with me at all. Nicole from Las Caletas though - she's been amazing. but i have to be honest, there are so many people i don't think to tip - and i am afraid i offend people w/o realizing it. sorry to leigh and all other photogs out there, but it never would have occured to me to tip the photographer. awful! the people i'd think to tip were all the service people (waiters, bartenders, etc.), maybe the DJ i guess - AHHHH - how do we know who gets a tip!?

hopefully the guy is a stand-up guy and just does what's right. he owns a bunch of pproperty - so hopefully he just knows he's responsible. grrrr - i just hate dealing w/crap like this. just comes with the home ownership game i guess!
