FYI - I got my b-pic album done by Leigh - i don't have it yet, but i will take pics once I get it. i am sure i will love it - leigh sent me a preview, and i am super excited! we (ok, i say we like leigh and i are giving the book to paul, weird!) ... I am getting "paul's little black book" embossed on the front.

we did - and we close on April 6th, so it's coming fast - and all at once!

I leave for MN on Friday morning! We don't close until APril 6, but I am in a wedding in May (the 5th, as you may recall, sis!) - and she's having 2 showers this weekend and I haven't been to any of them! So I am going to MN early and hanging w/the girls all weekend. Then I will work from my friends house next week, and then we close on Fri! Woohoo! Then HOPEFULLY my life will settle down just a little. Just in time for me to get settled in the new house, and ramp up on wedding stuff!

i do remember that now - and I was pissed off for you, I can't believe you weren't getting compensated for their mess up! I haven't been doing much with teh wedding because I am moving this week - I am sure you know how that goes! I drive to MN this weekend (Fri) and then we close next Fri (the 6th) - after that I will have to get in gear w/the wedding stuff. AHHH!

i tend to agree - but then again, I am older (in my 30s) and have been married once. i think the traditions of families paying for the wedding was more when the kids were moving right out of the house and getting married. i don't know if that happens as much anymore! but like the girls have said - if they want to go w/tradition, then yes, the brides familiy usually pays for the wedding, then i think the grooms pays for the rehearsal dinner (and honeymoon?). but since that doesn't seem to be the case - plan it your way, with YOUR list of people, and just let them do their own thing! i don't think they're obligated to pay, but then they don't get to say "Joe and Sally MUST be invited"

have you tried asking them to help? maybe they don't know you'd like the help!
