  1. Impressive - you actually got a giggle out of me, and that's tough to do this week! That was cute, and sadly, probably very true to what would happen in real life!
  2. i had a little margin issue myself. printers have a minimum required margin. i got around it by just shifting everything a little to the left on my page, and it printed ok.
  3. me too probably - but I know you can't get out of having Marty there. i think you can "hire" witnesses - just have randsom hotel people, or the WC can arrange some people.

  5. If you do this - yes, typically you have a smaller version of your bouquet made as the toss bouquet. But - for those that want to keep their bouquets - can we bring them back to the US? I guess I always assumed you couldn't because of customs. Anyone know?
  6. TammyM - I would NEVER cheat on you guys! My heart is here - for sure, but I do peek at The Knot once in a while and just take the good stuff over here. Ha!
  7. definitely try on a few different styles, even if you don't think they're right for you. you never know! worst thing that happens is that you're right! lol my mistake - i always went in the morning, or before eating a meal. by the time i had tried on a few dresses i was tired and hungry, and nothing looked good!
  8. I saw this on The Knot (I am procrastinating with packing), and thought someone might be interested. It looks like a very pretty dress - and at teh right price! (the Knottie selling it is babyang) --------------------------------- Maggie Sottero AD1010, NWT, Size 4 Tried on twice, PIB MaggieSottero.com - Dress Detail Plans have drastically changed for our wedding, so while this is a really lovely dress, it isn't quite formal enough for our wedding. I purchased the dress in January, and it has been kept in my closet in the bag since then, except for two try-ons. Size 4, but would easily fit a 2-4-6. I paid a little over $300 for this, but will send it to a happy home for $200, plus shipping. Email me if you are interested! thetachibunny at yahoo dot com ---------------------------------
  9. i had the same question. i actually have a little larger guest list - but there really aren't any singles in the group. i would feel silly tossing my bouquet to the flower girls!
  10. i know! i actually can't wait to see the dress - i am so nervous to see what it looks like when it actually fits!

  12. boy - she just snuck on in there, didn't she. i can't wait to hear all about everything, tasha!

(right!). i am sure i will want one in the end!
  14. Welcome, Tobie - no worries, we'll be able to help! Do you have any sites that you're interested in so far?
  15. ummm - i am eating popcorn as we speak! maybe some cheese and crackers to top it off.
  16. of course you girls would pick the 2 most expensive. sheesh. ok, who is pitching in to buy me the earings now? hmm? anyone?
  17. ummmm - i dunno. i may give in and get an album - but i am pretty sure it wasn't included in the package that paul and i got w/Leigh (we kind of customized one)
  18. i do believe that Leigh has a "registry" where people can give money to an album. we're not doing it - but i am pretty sure she's offered it
  19. yea, i'd HATE for you to come here and pack for me. it would be awful! (what time can you be here?) we're packing outselves, but we hired movers to load a truck and get it there. my stuff has been sitting in a POD since last August (long story) so it's mostly just Paul's stuff (furniture, etc.). i do have some of my clothes here obviously, and some stuff i've accumulated - but not a ton. we do have a house - and we close on it on April 6th. i've been saying that after March 30 my life becomes pure chaos (like it wasn't already!). Weekend of March 30: drive to MN (for good!) to go to 2 showers for my best friend, Marti, also have a mini-getogether with my friends for a pseudo-bachelorette dinner on Sat. Weekend of April 6th: close on house and move in! Weekend of April 12th: spa weekend away for Marti (all weekend) - Paul goes back to Chicago for bachelor party Weekend of April 19th: stay home and continue to unpack! Weekend of April 26th: weekend in Peurto Rico for work meeting Weekend of May 4th: Marti's wedding weekend! Weekend of May 11th: weekend in Chicago (niece's 1st communion & my shower) Weekend of May 18th: Paul's friend's wedding in MN Weekend of May 25th: panic because i realize i've done nothing for the wedding, and i leave in 1 week Weekend of June 2nd: LEAVE FOR PV! holy crap, now that I write it down ... i don't have much time in there! and i didn't put in there anything about getting my dress altered (it is coming to Chicago some time mid-April) and remember, that i typically travel out of state during the week, which is why I have everything on teh weekends!
  20. Ummmm - would you still be my forum sister if I said no, that I am not all packed? I am basically packing the clothes and stuff I will need for the next couple weeks - so I will do that tonight or Thurs. Paul is packing up most of the rest of the place.
  21. Ummm - that's a fine question! No idea - I know it's about a 6-7 hour drive from Chicago. Ugh - I hate long drives by myself.
