what? no gift? well ... damn. kidding - i was more sending it to, like you said, because i thought i'd just show you, and you had seen all my posts about making them! it's on my list of things to remember ... but you never know!

I got my dress! I was told I'd have to sign for it - but nope, they just left it on my doorstep. Good thing I work from home and was around to get it today! And I do still like it - but it doesn't fit great. I know once I get it altered it will fit so much better. It doesn't stay up great (and I thought I had a decent size chest!) - so in these pictures I am kind of having to hold it up by either sticking out my ribcage or just holding it. Also, it's longer than I thought. I am not sure if the flat shoes I bought will work know - which makes me a little nervous - I had planned on going barefoot down the aisle. Now I might trip! ANd I can't get it shorted w/o a huge effort because of the detail at the bottom - which is why we ordered it to my height (included in price for this dress). Anyway - here it is! Excuse the poor pictures, it was really hard by myself. And the akward pose and looks - I was getting frustrated, and trying to hold up my dress. There are already a few of you on this forum who have seen me naked, we dont' need any more!

i did, but i don't think you have to send them one. honestly, i probably wouldn't have sent Leigh an invite if I hadn't met her already, and she wasn't on this forum. (no offense, Leigh!) she's almost like more of a buddy now!

i really think it all depends on your personal preference. i think the shots where the veil is flying are pretty cool, and dramatic! but i wouldn't want it all over the place during my ceremony, i'd like to be able to see! i got "waltz" length, it comes to about mid-calf on me. i didn't take into account the outdoor factor - i just went with what i liked w/my dress. i think there is a variety of girls on this site - some w/no veil all the way to some having a cathedral length veil.
