    same here - from engagement to wedding was about 8 mos, plenty of time! you might have to be a little fleixble on the day of the week and other things if you're picking a busy season, but who cares ... you can definitely make it work!

    like Rachel said, Sunday weddings at LC used to be rare/unheard of. i think most people want their wedding on Sat or Friday. but since you're in Mexico on vacation, it's not as important! i know ALL Sundays can't be booked up, but are you trying to get married before a certain time or something? also, like Rachel said, i think most (all?) brides go over early - you really won't have time to get ready otherwise. but if that's not important, then i suppose you could go over in the afternoon/evening with everyone else.

    welcome to the forum! if the photog is important to you it can't hurt to start looking now. i'd worry more about that then where you're staying, but that's just me. good luck!

    lol, yea, he was just trying to make a sale - but i guess it worked! just doesn't seem worth the possible trouble to me, but then again, i am not a cigar smoker!

    photographers aren't allowed to solicit or respond to these posts offering their services, so you won't be getting any help there! i suggest you try searching the forums for suggestions - there are tons out there! or take a look at our Vendor Marketplace sub-forum and contact some of the vendors that you like asking for information.
