i totally would if i hadn't already done them with Leigh! i will talk to my friend who got married this past weekend - she wanted to do them before the wedding but didn't get the chance. she's on her honeymoon - but she may be interested when she gets back!

i hope not! i hope that everything just falls into place. i've always been a procrastinator - and i work best under pressure. my first paper i had to write in college, i started the night before - at midnight! not a good idea - but i have trouble motivating myself too early. still don't know when and where we're getting legally married in Hawaii - that's Paul's to-do - and he's a procrastinator as well!

do you (or anyone!) know of any deep sea fishing places to contact?

oh no - not really. and we don't have a bed or a bedroom set yet, so we're still using wardrobe boxes. we want to get one before the wedding so we can move into our master bedroom when we get back - just not sure it's happening. we DID order my wedding band today though

I remember she got a new job - then disappeared! Glad to hear she's doing ok - not sure I could think of wedding stuff a year out either! Heck, I am less than a month out and struggling.

i'm not doing a site visit - but she did a mock up for me of what my tables may look like. i thought about waiting - but then how do you assign the table #s - don't you have to pre-print some stuff? i may just do a couple tables up front for immediate family - then let the rest sit where they want!

we didn't set a budget beforehand, but i honestly had no idea what to expect! we're paying for this ourselves as well, and really are "simple" people, but somehow i'm at about $22K - but that includes dress, rings, travel, etc. yikes.

Welcome! I'm not getting married at Dreams, but I am staying there. Just a warning, the WC there is frustrating and slow to deal with, but I've heard it all comes together in the end. If you're going with an outside WC as well, you should be ok - and I've heard GREAT things about Dazzling Details - and also that they're expensive. Hopefully you can make that work too! I love your wedding date - if I would have been willing to wait that long it would have been fun - and easy to remember! Mine is 6-8-07 ... close! Let us know how we can help!
