    i feel like the oddball - i am soooo excited to be done w/wedding planning. i feel like everyone else likes this stuff - and i don't! oh well - i do like to see the results!

    i am so jealous - you're getting legally married too, right? i didn't realize you were going BEFORE the wedding - yay! since i have absolutely no clue what our legal wedding in Maui is all about (where, when, etc.) i've asked Paul if he wants any pictures. enjoy yoru trip!

    those are just the Las Caletas brides - it's all about Las Caletas for me! lol many of those brides haven't come back to share a review or pictures, unfortunately. i am still hoping they do though! and i obviously had some dates wrong since there weren't 2 weddings on teh same day in April - unless the same girl posted twice.

    i always book mine last minute - but that's just me. sometimes you can get a better deal that way. but i also travel waaaayyy too much so i have "status" with the companies and am guaranteed a car. i've never really heard of anyone not getting a car - unless there were some huge convention or event going on i guess.

    i always had to rent a car for work, and i was under 25. but then again, it ws under my employers contract, so that might be why i didn't have an issue. you probably just have to pay more - but just check out the company's website or call to get the scoop (hertz is my fav, or national, budget, etc.). little tip ... find out the lowest per day price on something like expedia.com - then go to priceline and name your own price - i always get a pretty good deal that way. and i use that when not renting for work.

    I think you're making this into a much bigger issue than it is - no one said you were the worst person or coordinator ever. No one said not to use you. No one on here said not to log onto the forum! If I can make a suggestion, and I realize this has nothing to do with me, but this topic has probably been dragged out much longer than it needed to be! We hope you stay and continue to participate on the forum.

    No one is judging you. Tammy just posted her experience. She tried contacting you the only way she could to handle this privately, and she didn't get anywhere that way. She posted her review. I think she did what any bride would do. Now that we all can hear both sides of the situation, we can all make our own decisions based on what we've read. Tammy never said "don't use Lovely Cabo Weddings" - she just posted her experience. I don't think anyone is judging anyone, and no one has asked that you leave this forum!

    for the Chicago trip, we planned on it the weekend Leigh was going to be in Chicago for another reason (lucky us!). but i think if you can get enough girs to commit to doing it in one city, she may be willing to make the trip. but please don't tell her you'll do it - and then flake out - i feel so bad when that happens!
