well think about things like swimming or just being active (and sweating) - would it fall off? and in the winter when you're cold (we MN girls know that!) it will come off easier. but also, if you wear it with a band it may stay on better too. maybe keep it that size for a few weeks and see how it feels.

this is just for a dinner - i am not having my wedding there, only my WD. and $45 does sound right (i think?) if you have a buffet, which is one reason we chose a seated dinner.

i think the Dreams PV is like $22 pp for a seated private event dinner - but it just went up to like $26 or something. it's under $30 anyway. that's for the people staying there though - it's more for those staying offsite, and it's also more for a buffet.

i totally see myself writing to those vendors that helped to make the day extra special, like leigh and nicole (Las Caletas WC), but ummm, a haiku? i'll see what i can do! (ooohh - look at me ryhming already!)

i believe that Tammy was working on this, but she didn't want to implement it since it's still in the Beta version. she wanted to wait until all of the kinks were worked out.

good question, Tammy, and I have heard that. but i get the tipping for those that are in the service industry - they often work for low wages and it's all about the service. but why do I have to pay the vendor if they work for the resort? like nicole is arranging all of the vendors - how do i know who they work for (not a resort)? for example, the DJ, i am paying a lot of $$ per hour for that - i guess i don't understand why a tip is also expected, or is it? AHHHH! i'm so afraid of offending someone unintentionally!

well i don't plan on carrying any $$ the day of - so they better not expect me to be handing out cash that day! lol i don't mean to sound like a bitch here, i am actually a great tipper when i go out to eat, etc (unless it's bad service), but i mean it seems like everyone expects a tip these days. how do i know what "etiquette" is as far as tipping?

well, i can't say i disagree with you, courtney. i mean, the whole point behind a tip is that it's for a job well done, and should be given accordingly. it should never be expected. however, i will admit, i am the first to admit that half of the time i don't know who normally gets tipped. i never would have thought to tip Leigh - not because of how she did, or how great she is, but because it's just not something that would have crossed my mind. then she may feel insulted, even though i had no idea tipping the photog was even something people do! i can guarentee i didn't in my first wedding. not sure i really tipped any of the vendors - i guess in my simple little mind - why would i? they charge a fee, and i paid that. who do you typically tip? where does it stop!? lol

if you're going to have to photograph something - that's not a bad scene to shoot! i love that you guys are going to do the harassing for me! but be nice, i want her to take her time and do a fabulous job! not that i have any doubt, but no showing up on leigh's doorstep and holding her hostage!

YAY! Another Minneapolis girl - where do you live? I went to Lk Tahoe a long time ago, and LOVE it - what a great choice!

i know somethig i don't do enough is take advantage of the local "touristy" things. and i don't mean the Mall of America! typically when you live somewhere, you take those things for granted. for example, MN has a ton of great rivers, lakes, waterfalls, etc. that i've never seen! i'd love to find out a list of "top 10" things to do in MN and actually do them. is your area known for anything? paul and i took my dad on a river tour of chicago - and paul was surprised how much fun he had, and how much he learned about the town he was raised in. it ended up being a blast! also, what about camping?
