I figure we can get by w/o bands if we don't get them - but I do want mine! Quote: Originally Posted by A10CALGAL Yay for all of you girls! I can't believe it's time FINALLY! 8. welcome! picking the perfect location for you is one of the hardest parts of a destination wedding i think. there are so many options! definitely check out the Napa section - and talk with Christine. i am getting married at Las Caletas (Puerto Vallarta) - here's their website: Puerto Vallarta Wedding Planner for Mexico Destination Weddings - it's different option in that it's not at a resort or anything, and is private - and that's what we were looking for!
  9. i don't know much about the DR - but i did want to welcome you to the forum!

  15. thanks ladies! i am feeling a lot better now that i am actually getting things checked off of my list. there's still a lot left to go - but it's slowly coming together!
  16. i love your rings - yours because it looks like mine (heehee), and his because it's simple and classy, yet has a little detail!

  18. well, there's green ribbon under the pink ribbon - so i could do without the green i guess. i was trying to incorporate the green because technically green and blue are our colors! but the flowergirls' mom decided she wanted to buy pink dresses - so i used pink and green! still playing around. thanks for the tips - keep 'em coming!
  19. here ya go - look on page 2 (if it doesn't pop you there automatically) http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1528-2
  20. congrats Jessalyn! it looks like exactly what i want for my Maui wedding! it looks like you guys had a blast - thanks for sharing .. can't wait to see the pro-pics! woohoo!
  21. Ok ladies - it's crunch time, and I am spending this week getting all of my stuff done. First project, my 4 flowergirls bouquets. I thought it would be fun to make them myself, and use fake flowers, so they could keep them. No idea how I was going to attempt this - so here is my first try. Please let me know what you think! I added a Celtic knot charm just cuz they're all Irish kiddies - and thought it would be nice to add this touch. And they all have charm bracelets - they can keep these afterwards. Anyway - be honest! Here is my first try ... whatcha think? Sorry for the poor pictures!
  22. they don't work with just one - there are options - not sure if you want to hear that or not! when i first asked Nicole, she gave me a link for 6 photographers that they have worked with - i think 3-4 were actually the price package that you see on the website for Las Caletas. so it's funny that your mom says they have a good photog - it isn't like it's just one photog! i posted them somewhere on this forum - a thread titled "PV Photographers" or something. Let me know if you need help finding them.
  23. oh crap - open mouth, insert foot! i LOVE the turquoise. i love turquoise with anything! i think that combo doesn't even come close to 4th of july - you have nothing to worry about there at all. like if you had red, white, and turquoise - it would look great. like i said - the color red and i haven't got along for years now. i wore a red shirt for school pictures one year (in elementary school!), and someone said red isn't my color. ever since then, i've avoided it! anyway - honestly, i am sure it would look fun and festive regardless. but i generally think simple is better.
