Crate & Barrell does this too! 2. sure thing - here it is! i believe i "borrowed" the original document from Sherri i think - so credit goes to her too! i changed the clipart and colors, but the layout was hers. Newsletter2.doc
  3. oh wow - you're doing a Sunday wedding, i didn't realize that (even though you said it! lol). out of curiosity, how did that work - isnt' it like double the price? do you get to name your own times now, since they don't have other tours to worry about?
  4. hey Lizzy! i had 2 vegetarians at my WD so i requested 2 special meals. my wedding was a buffet with plenty of options, so i didn't have to worry that night. but for my vegetarians, they both eat fish - so that's what they were served. my sis (the vegetarian) often eats some fancy portobello meals - often prepared the same as the meat being served, just with a mushroom!
  5. i was married in PV - but i have a newsletter like thing i put in the OOT bags if you're interested.
  6. YES! I found my dress at a swanky bridal salon, and at Macy's - it was like $400 (or more?) cheaper at Macys, but I really liked that the salon knew what they were doing, etc. Anyway, the salon matched the Macy's price - so I was able to purchase it from there! I would bet they meet the lower price.
  7. oh, and i don't have my pics yet - there's one in my avatar, and then i do have a slideshow - let me know if you wnat to see that
  8. i don't have any trial pictures - didn't take any - but my WC arranged to have my hair done at a place called L'Occoco (I could be off on that spelling) - they're downtown. She did a great job - and after a last minute snafu, she also ended up doing my makeup - I believe the woman's name was Anja
  9. welcome to the forum - let us know how we can help! and we love to see pictures ... have you bought your dress yet? what about the ring?

  11. wow, you guys have been busy! i go to a soccer game, then out for a beer - and look what's happened! maria, i started a spreadsheet while reading through this thread - but it's probably better ifyou keep track, sicne people have already started PMing you. i kind of went off what people said, and then Glenda's list. the PM will make it an official order! thanks for handling that, maria! as for paying me - we can do whatever is easiest. i do have a paypal account - and if you already have one, all i need to do is give you my email address - that's how you pay me. now, i've never had to pay a fee (unless your funding source is a credit card, mine is my checking account). but when i sold my fans and the person paid me via paypal, i was chared a fee - and i have no idea why. maybe this person used a credit card to pay - but not sure why i was charged. not a big deal though, just make sure you read. almost everything i bought for my wedding on eBay was paid for via PayPal - and i never paid a fee. but if you prefer to pay w/a check in the mail, that's cool too! i am totally fine with just paying for everything upfront w/my CC - and then you gals just paying me back. i trust you all! i can pay for it all, split the $10 among everyone, and then let you know how much the individual shipments are. if someone would rather do COD (cash on delivery!) i am sure i can do that too - never tried shipping something that way though!
  12. eh - it took me about 4 years to go back to my maiden name after i was divorced! lol
  13. don't put the website url in the mountain icon - right click on the pic itself and then select properties - then grab THAT url.
  14. for the most part you can do everything seperately. there MIGHT be some things that require a picture ID w/the new name, in that case you'd need to wait for your DL or passport to come back w/the new name. but i can't imagine that will happen. evreything is seperate! almost everywhere will likely ask for a certified copy of your marriage license - that's all

  16. it's not too late - i don't know that any decisions have been made yet! the question now is, if i understand correctly, does everyone pay $12 for them to ship directly to you, or pay the one $10 fee to ship to one person (me?) and then i turn around and ship them to everyone individually (maria is estimating the cost around $6-8 i think, plus supplies - but don't quote me on that!).
  17. oohhh - good idea, i'll skim a little off the top! lol - i actually thought about getting one or two if i do this!
  18. we weren't originally going to register for anything. then when my MIL and SILs said they wanted to throw me a shower (wasn't going to have one), they convinced me to register. so we probably registered in April ,since the shower was in May, for our June wedding.
  19. oh, and did i mention my $5 processing fee for each order? (kidding)
