thanks! i got the dress at Macy's - got a lot of compliments on it too, and i hadn't even planned on wearing it for the wedding, but it was perfect!

no problem, Jill! Maria - that's good to know. I didn't spend a lot of time on that website, so I may have missed all of the details - I will definitely go to the store tomorrow. Like I said, UPS is across the street from me and the post office is like a mile away. We'll figure this out, girls!

ok, online the USPS seems much more reasonable. i will try tomorrow! do you have a max that you want me to spend, or what were you expecing to pay? any ideas?

i will go to the post office tomorrow and ask for the cheapest way - and i can go to the UPS store too - just to double check

i'm game to try anything to save them from having to pay that much in shipping - just let me know, girls!

There is a UPS 1 block away - so I can always run over there just to be sure that's an accurate estimate - but I wanted to check here first to see if that sounded right to you all. Maybe that is what you all expected! Not sure I did ... lol

way to make it complex, Maria! just kidding. i just know that whenever i send someone money, all i do is "send money" (or whatever it says), and then enter an email. sounds like maybe you did it a little different? when did you do it - let me know when 2-3 days is up and i can let you know if/when i receive it.

i didn't have one (this is an option too!), but my best friend that got married a month before me had spa weekend. it was AWESOME! we rented a cabin in northern MN that had a spa, pool, etc. and bought a bunch of food, and beverages. some only came for one night, but most of us spent the weekend - it was perfect!

are they people that would be invited to your wedding? maybe you could do an announcement/STD all-in-one?

For us, we didn't want the resort wedding (no offense to anyone intended!) - we wanted a private wedding and reception, on a beach. That's not easy to find! But it's why we chose Las Caletas. And the wedding coordinators ... they couldn't be any better. But then you choose a resort to stay at indepedantly, and you could choose an adult only resort.
