    what's the point in lying? i'm hardly trying to build a reputation as Betty Crocker! i think that's just an old fashioned mentality where we're looked at as weaker if we're not all things (great cook, great wife, great mother, etc.). laugh it off!

    so i just looked at your photos - and i don't think i realized what a big man your hubby is! damn! there was one group shot where was like, "this has GOT to be trick photography!" lol how tall is he anyway? and it must run in the family, i saw a big dude in the pews too - front row.

    i wish i could help you with RM - but i'm not familiar. if i remember correctly from your intro. post you said you were sold on RM. but if you're not - you should check out Las Caletas (in PV) ... I didn't want a resort wedding either, and this secluded beach (only accessible by boat) was perfect for us. and i must point out, the wedding coordinators ROCK!

    yea - i have multiple pieces of jewelry insured and i want to say it's around $200 per year to insure as a rider on my homeowners policy. there had to be some mistake with that quote! i've had like 4 or so policies due to changing ins. companies, moving, etc and it's always been around the same price.

    yea - i just didn't want to deal with it. but mainly, i didn't have a wedding party (other than the flower girls) and didn't have any set music, so i wasn't even sure what i'd put on there if i did have them! we had tags hanging off of our fans that were the placecards, and also had a little thank you blurb on them. it was a little folded card.

    yea - the day of the wedding Nicole asked me which way i wanted the whole thing facing, either straight and lined up with the stairs or like Jamy had it. its definitely something you can decide last minute - i did it just a couple hours before the ceremony.

    that's not a bad idea, having both girls walk you down. that is, if that's what you want and would make you happy. or what about walking down part of the way by yourself, then having someone meet you?
