  1. i've heard lasar is more painful than electrolysis just becuase it's a slow burn rather than the quick zap - but i've never had lasar.
  2. i did a bikini wax for the first and only time like a week before the wedding. Sure, it was painful, but not too bad at all. And i've been doing electrolysis too - i'm addicted but haven't had a lot of spare time in recent months.
  3. yep - i was pleasantly surprised! i am going to let him know that i will be referring his company! i really think it's actually a guy (or several) that run out of the home.
  4. Ok, this isn't destination wedding specific, but I wanted to post anyway, in case anyone is looking for these services in the Twin Cities. I wanted a couple copies of my wedding video, and then another slideshow that I had made a couple years ago for my mom's 60th birthday. I called these guys, and they actually came and picked up my 2 DVDs - I told them I wanted 2 copies of the birthday video, and 3 of the wedding one. It was $9.99 per copy, plus 10% off with my coupon. Anyway, he just dopped the copies back off, less then 24 hours later. Great service! And, I didn't ask them to do this - and the original copies don't even have this - but they put a nice label on them all. One says "happy birthday, mom" and the other says "ann & paul's wedding - Las Caletas, Mexico - June 8, 2007" So they definitely went above and beyond! Anyway - here's their contact info. if anyone is interested. Looking at their website, they also seem to have many other services. email: [email protected] website: Legacy Video, Inc. 5. i think that sounds like a perfect plan! then you can do whatever you want after dinner. are you having a dance?
  6. ok, i truely dislike compiling songs that i like - but i like having good CDs. i might have to send you my address too ... sounds like our tastes are pretty similar (LOVE david gray)
  7. i sent them to everyone even if i knew they couldn't attend. mainly just because i wanted them to get the official invite, but also because they might change their mind (and a couple did!)
  8. ok - my bride-to-be vote is for PaulaV!
  9. if she doesn't get back to you on here (I know she's traveling a lot right now) - send Leigh Miller a PM, she's been able to refer a lot of girls to photographers
  10. Mrs: I've got to vote for dragonfly (Kelly!) Bride-to-be: hmmmm ... tough one, let me get back to you

Thank you for being my perfect match. I love you! yes its our "kind of" anniversary. and i kind of forgot. our real anniversary is sept 17th. and ive rented the estate where we got married in palm springs for the entire weekend to celebrate. i guess that gets me off the hook a little. but tonight we will cuddle up on a plane together flying to nyc and i cant think of a way id rather spend my "kind of" anniversary night ahh yes, i forgot to say - happy "kind of" anniversary!

    Hello!

so tell us what you're looking for - there are so many options! like a lot of places in Mexico, the DR, Jamiaca, Carribean, or even within the US - California, FL, Vegas ... not sure this is helping!

Maybe serve ourderves until 4:00 and than serve dinner. this is what i'd suggest as well. i don't get the brunch style thing - does that mean like breakfast style food? i think i nice afternoon ceremony, with hors d'ouvres and then a meal sounds perfect. then depending on your guests and your taste - you can head in early, or dance the night away!
  16. OMG - that is insane! he put so much work into that. that's one girl who will never have to ask for attention! i got teary eyed! and of course he thought to video tape the whole thing - he thought of everything else!
  17. i wish i would have thought about it - i totally would have done this! but then i would have skipped the koozies. but anyway - i know someone on here did this - and she had them personalized. what about just getting a monogram/logo with just the location and date, and maybe your names in smaller print if you want - that's what i did (and a lot of us) for the OOT bags, since we didn't want our names plastered all over something they may want to use again.
  18. welcome! there is definitley a lot of information on here for Puerto Vallarta. can you tell us more what you're looking for? have you looked into any resorts or other sites yet? try digging around in the Puerto Vallarta sections to see if there's anything that looks interesting. and let us know if you have any questions. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ounding-areas/ http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...odations-site/
