  2. ooohhh - home remodeling for me, hands down! i'm so not a planner ... but the 2 homes i've built (or bought, rather, new construction) i've actually had fun. i will say though - it wasn't picking the TILE that got me, it was choosing the color grout that went with that tile! lol
  3. i'm sure she's busy typing up the long, detailed proposal story right now, and that's why she's not responding ...
  4. we had them - but i actually never noticed them until someone pointed out the kids playing with them. we were all running around barefoot. here's a pic ...
  5. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! share the details!
  6. here is my bouquet - also through the Las Caletas crew. i didn't have a wedding party though - and i made my flowergirls bouquets (they're fake) and brought them with me.
  7. yea - what's with Tammy sneaking in there?! lol CHEATER!
  8. i prefered the more casual look - so my vote is for no tie (Paul just wore khakis and a short sleeve shirt). but it's all about personal preference!

I had mine with only the water in the background, thus the need for the L-shaped aisle. I don't know what you're saying about the cramped thing, I didn't experience that at all. Trust me, there is nothing cramped about that place...and the last thing you'll think about when walking down the aisle is how many feet are to the left and right of you. Here's a pic of our set-up: oh, right - i forgot about that question. it wasn't cramped at all ... and i had both my mom and dad walk me down the aisle, we had plenty of room.
  10. btw - i love your hair, i wish mine had that nice wave to it!

I wore ivory, but Paul wore white ... i didn't think it looked bad, but that's my opinion!
  13. i really love the romantic feel and look of that first one!
  14. i was just going to say - almost any "wedding etiquette" book will tell you that traditionally the groom's family pays for the rehearsal dinner, and the brides family pays for the wedding and ceremony. but unless you're going by total tradidion, which most of us aren't (a DW is hardly traditional in most cases) then not sure you can waive that over his head!
  15. i like #1 - but mainly becuase of that lace/tulle in the chest area of #2, if it weren't for that i'd really like them both
  16. I think you asked if the path from the bridal casita/spa is a straight shot, it's not. you can see my trying to see my guests through the woods in one of my pics. you can also kind of see the path in a couple of my pics. here i am coming down from the bridal suite then you kind of come in from over to the left a little then once i get down this far (you can see in the back) i had the aisle set up as a straight shot from teh stairs here is the flip-side view
  17. wow - that's quite a welcome!
  18. welcome to the forum! from the title - I assume you're getting married at Las Caletas ... YAY! let us know if we can help at all - there are quite a few of us on here who have been or will be married there.
