i actually didn't leave the resort at all except for my hair trial, and the wedding. that sounds sad, but i just wasn't in "exploring" mode that week at all - and normally we are. we knew that we'd be doing a lot of that the following week in Hawaii, after the wedding. we were all about just hanging around the resort with friends and family. i know that Jamy did a lot more around PV so she'll probably have a few tips. she's usually on a little later at night.

i didn't order anything special so i can't be of too much help - she basically said "do you want white or brown" - i said white! lol not sure i even know what an Italian wedding cake is!

i did tip Nicole at the end of the night - well her, Kelley (the other WC), and Brad (minister)

none of our crew ended up golfing so i can't help much!

I haven't done much in the way of decorations as I figure the ocean will suffice as a backdrop! I haven't really done much in the way of planning, after reading all the posts here on the forum I have all the faith in the world in Nicole. I don't think I did much either, and I was very happy with how it all turned out. I added the sea glass, and then had sent pics to Nicole of centerpieces that I liked ... that's about it! Oh, I mentioned to her that I'd like to use the beige table runners too (they already had these). Am I the next one to be married at Las Caletas? Or is there someone before me? I am soooo excited!! We have Heather&Dan in Oct some time, and then Brooke & Gen on 11/5 ... but you're so close! see my responses in blue!

the original guybera (sp?) shirt that paul bought he didn't like. so we went shopping the week before we left for Mexico, and he bought a couple light white shirts. he decided the morning of the wedding which one he was going to wear! then he wore the other one for our legal ceremony in Hawaii.

i am definitely seeing a trend that hadn't occured to me before, did you ladies all pick out what your guys will wear? am i the only one that never thought to pick it out for him? i guess he did show it to me after bought it, and i was with him when he picked out the pants ... but it never occured to me to actually pick something FOR him! lol

paul and i plan on redoing our kitchen when we get back from Cyprus - I am so excited! the house is 87 years old, and i think the cabinets are too! though there are brand new, granite countertops ... odd.
