1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who is with you? Paul 2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal? deer 3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal? just stare for a little bit, then he runs away 4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your DREAM house. How big is it? medium size - not huge 5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence? not the whole thing - the backyard is 6. You enter the house. You walk into the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it? placemats, flowers, a hutch, 6-8 chairs 7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it? plastic (disposable) 8. What do you do with the cup? pick it up and throw it away 9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at a body of water. How big is the body of water? a medium size lake or large pond 10. How will you cross the water? walk around it, unless there's a bridge Stop and answer No cheating! What it is supposed to mean 1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important person in your life. 2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life. 3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems. 4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems. 5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer that people not drop by unannounced. 6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, or people, then you are generally unhappy. 7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationships. 8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude. 9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire. 10. The way you cross the water is representative to how easy or hard you expect your life to be Yikes - this one was harsh! But is this telling me that if I stare at my problems (a.k.a. the deer) long enough they will run away? That would be nice!

got my dress! (Lazaro)
LCBride2007 replied to boscobel's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
that's the first thing i thought when i saw the pic ... this HAS to be Lazaro! mine was too - and i loved it. i honestly LOVE your dress ... it's gorgeous. -
We went to Hawaii right after Mexico - we went to Oahu for 2 nights, and Maui for the rest. Paul always said, since he was younger, that he'd honeymoon in Hawaii - we even thought about getting married there, but Mexico just worked out better. It was perfect!

welcome, Sarah! you sound like me when i started - though you know what you want, and didn't! i know i didn't want a resort wedding, which sounds similar to you. i was married at Las Caletas (Puerto Vallarta) - it's a secluded, private beach that is only accessible by boat. i could go on and on, but i won't bore you ... unless you want to know more. just let me know! i have lots of pics and other links in my siggy - so click away! there are quite a few of us on this forum getting married there - so you wouldn't be lacking in help. oh, and the wedding coordinator there ROCKS! i know that the Cabo Surf hotel in Cabo is a more intimate hotel, and many girls on here have been married there and been very happy. i don't know much else about it - or what the max number of people is. you've come to the right place for help! oh, and congratulations on the engagement!

Las Caletas Cakes
LCBride2007 replied to chrisnessa's topic in Destination Weddings in Puerto Vallarta & surrounding areas
there probably aren't real strict limitations. if you look at all of our cakes from LC, they've all been pretty different. i showed Nicole some pics that i liked, and she took it from there. but i didn't put a ton of thought into it - i bet you could get something you liked pretty easy. -
I ordered my dress Sat!!
LCBride2007 replied to Golden's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
oh wow - i can't wait to see the finished product! even as-is, the dress is beautiful! -
exactly! it's a toss up though, and i can see both sides. it probably depends on your group too - we had a pretty independant group and one that seems to have no problems finding entertainment on their own (some good, some bad!). but if i had a lot of older relatives (or whoever) that would want organized events, i probably would have done soemthing more. also, we had so many people coming in at different days throughout the week, it was almost imposible to find something to do when everyone was there - many didn't show up until the day before teh wedding, when we had the WD
-
We just had the WD and then the wedding - nothing else organized. I am going to go against the grain and say that you don't have to plan anything. Honestly, when I am on vacation I hate having an itinerary. This is the reason I didn't plan anything for our wedding week. I was at a DW this past week and they had group things a few times during the week - it actually got to be rather annoying. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I just wanted somem down time while I was on vacation! I know you don't HAVE to attend these group events, but you definitley feel obligated. Just thought I'd throw that perspective out there.

If This is Your Second Marriage- Passport Question!
LCBride2007 replied to Martha's topic in Honeymoon Forum
i changed my passport back to my maiden name right before the wedding, and all i had to show was a divorce decree. i will then need to show my new marriage license to get it to my new married name. not sure that helps! -

Quick question, you said that you got 150 silver plated seashell name holders. Where did you get those? Anybody else have advice on name holders? Also I am looking for an upbeat, fun song for when we are walking back down the aisle together (I think that is called the recessional, but not sure) Any suggestions on that one? Place Card Holders I got hand fans and parasols online as well. The parasols are for decor around the beach not for the actually ceremony. Japanese Kimonos, Chinese Paper Lanterns, Chopsticks, Chinese Dresses I'll keep you posted if I see anything else since Im there about 2 wks before your wedding. So exicted!!! since you guys are getting married so close together - you could always share some things to save $$ and save both of you carting stuff down to PV. I know Nicole would be willing to hold on to some stuff for the 2nd wedding - Marisa and I were going to do the same thing, but ended up not doing it because the stuff she had shipped never arrived in PV! just an idea. Those of you who've already gotten married at LC - did you have kids at your weddings? Were there any problems? We had 4 kids there - ages 4-7, and they were totally fine. But they're also pretty well behaved, independant kids and don't need a lot of supervision. I am so glad they were there - and they had no problems at all. They pretty much danced throughout the night with the rest of us! Quote: Originally Posted by tvt Ok gals, I'm curious. married LC gals. I guess just the entire setting - it was exactly what we wanted. It was private, romantic, beautiful, intimate, good food, a good WC, ... so many things! The original reason we chose Las Caletas is because we wanted privacy - we didn't want a resort wedding with a bunch of random onlookers. Once we found LC - we knew it was perfect for us, even though we didn't see it until our wedding day!
