i did show up in Mexico on Sat or Sun for our Friday wedding, but only because we wanted to make a longer week of the trip. i think i met w/my WC on Tue. but there was nothing that needed to be done that couldn't have waited until the morning of the wedding to be honest. so in my case, meeting before the day of the wedding (or morning of) wouldn't have been a big deal at all.

i am keeping that dang website open listening to it over and over in hopes that it clicks!

I didn't upgrade or add to the bar options - but I know you can. I think there's a list of what is provided on the Adventure Weddings website, but I'm not sure, and not sure it shows the brand, if that's important to you. Would you be going over early to Las Caletas that morning? I know they give the bride and her guests first dibs at the spa if you're interested - we didn't sign up for anything, but we were asked after we got on the boat. They ask all of the guests on the boat/day cruise at that time, but Nicole makes sure the bride and her group get first chance. We gave the DJ a few CDs that we made with music we like - but we also said he can play what he wants. He did a mix of both. You can definitely tell him to only play off of your CD if you want to, or maybe just give him a "do not play" list - many couples do that.

i voted for #4 because i'd be afraid of the colors being off on the first 2, and i'm not a fan of #3 - but i do like #4! not sure that helps at all ... lol

Ok, I don't think this is going to help much ... but I have been to Barbados and loved, loved, LOVED it! problem is - it was on a cruise! so i didn't stay on the island anywhere. i just remember it being super lush and beautiful. again - probably doesn't help, but it was my favorite island of all the islands we went to!

i have to say - i think that might be my favorite bouquet i've ever seen!

the main reason I used one (I used Tammy, the host) is just because I didn't want tons of email and calls asking ME how to book or to find cheaper rates. I book my own travel all year long - I don't want to deal with other people's as well! Also, it allowed for people to pay a bit now, then the rest before the trip.

well the date and location really go together - i'd have a general timeframe in mind, then find your location and see what exact dates in that timeframe they have available. unless you have a date that you absolutley want (but doesn't sound like that's the case!), you could call a few places to see if they're available on that date. oh, welcome to the forum!

i did my own - as did many others on here. i found a sample invite (ordered online) then basically just copied that. i created my design in MS Word, and went to a local craft/paper store and bought all of the paper and supplies I'd need. I printed on my hope printer ... and there ya go! Many of the girls on here, like Sarah (NurseSarah) created some beautiful invites on their own as well.

i bet you could find a studio that has some kind of bike to use
