Working on welcome baskets/letters/things to do at the moment! the sad thing is, i actually looked to see where you were from ... i was all ready to jump in my car! sorry, but it's a little too far. lol everyone will have a blast - there's no need to worry!

Maybe I should contact that store of yours in St. Paul. I went to the only Irish store I could find around here but they didn't have any wedding bands nor could they order them... LOVE that ring! very cool. this store got Paul's ring from Ireland ... so it's the real thing! that was important to Paul too. they have quite a decent selection at the store, and then catalogs to look through. here is the website: Irish Gifts Minnesota not all of their available jewelry is on their website - i know Paul's ring wasn't. they were so, SO nice too when we went into the store. tami - please let me know if you want me to go into teh store too. i'd be happy to run over there! i'm not working much at all right now, so i have plenty of time.
  4. what ring is it ... have you posted it? i love celtic bands!

  7. welcome! glad you finally decided to post. running into Tammy was just a sign that you should be on here!
  8. welcome to the forum - just let us know if we can help at all! there are quite a few Caletas brides on here.
  9. welcome to the forum! if you feel like you want to do favors, there are lots of options (CDs, personalized candy, frames, etc.) - but don't feel like you have to. i think most of us skipped out on favors - and opted to just to OOT bags (or nothing!). just thought i'd throw that out there.
  10. yay! how cool that you're able to return the other dress. so glad you found "the one" now. i totally spaced on meeting you today ... you must think i am the biggest flake! at the last minute i had a guy come over to estimate putting central air into the house - and totally forgot to get back to you. now i wish i would have - maybe i could have seen the dress! doh!

I say do a lot of research, as much as possible and talk to different doctors. There has to be something they can do about it, I am doubting its impossible for you to have a baby. So, take a deep breath, try to relax and when it all sinks in, start searching for options. There has to be options for you. I really believe that you will have a baby, you just need to figure out how. Shelley I am sorry to hear this - but I was going to say something similar to what Julie said, it's better to know now so you can deal with this sooner rather than later after you've been hitting your head on a wall for months! I dont' know enough medically to say that everything will be ok, but I know that you can't fix something you don't know is broken! Hang in there - and we're here for you.

You have plenty of time! I actually haven't even been engaged a year yet - and I've been married since June 8th! We were engaged at the end of Sept 2006, so we had a 8 month engagement too. And we're here to help ... you won't have a problem!

(Nor would I recommend it!) i hear ya! and we never locked our doors either - we'd come home from school and just walk in. even when we were on vacation or something, pretty sure we didn't lock the doors. not sure anyone even owned a key!
  16. i think you got them all! any chance i could fit in the bag with Tammy?
  17. well, it sounds like you're approaching it the "right" way by comparing everything (salray, benefits, commute, etc.) and the long term vs. short term benefits. not sure any of us can add anything that you haven't already considered ... you're even making a spreadsheet (a girl after my own heart!). i guess - just think about things like ... do you see yourself at any of these companies long term? can you go back and spend the day w/someone (shadow someone) just to see what it might be like to help you decide? good luck!
  18. that will probably work too - but the clipart i used just wouldn't show up well on the paper i was using.
  19. oh, and here is my "day of" timeline i used - i know i've posted before, but i'll put it here too! Timeline.doc
