ditto what everyone else said! i wouldn't let this experience ruin your thoughts on Mexico, or even AA. unfortunately some jackasses somewhere along the way (could have been anyone, airline employee or not) stole from you. i've been to Mexico numerous times and have NEVER had anything stolen from me. it really sucks that this happened to you - but don't let it ruin your hopes of having a great DW! -
welcome, Laura! let us know what you're looking for, and maybe where you and most of your guests are coming from and we can do our best to help. the where part was the hardest for many of us! Mexico (Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Riveria Maya, etc.) Jamaica Hawaii Mainland U.S. (Napa, San Diego, East Coast, etc.) Carribbean ... so many options!

what about the idea of something related to any NY resolutions? like for me it would be something about working out ... so i could post something that would motivate me. i don't actually really do resolutions - but if i did - that would be it! lol

we didn't have pics beforehand, so i can't help there! but if there are any pics that you really think it's important that the wedding band is on - maybe you can put it on temporarily. but i can't imagine you'd even notice in most pics - would you? as for during the ceremony - that's exactly what i did. i had my e-ring on the whole time. then the band came on during the ceremony. at some point soon after the ceremony, i flipped them - but i can't remember when! lol

Hey Lindsay - welcome to the forum! Most of us on here are (or were!) new to forums in general too, so you're in good company. You earn points by just being an active member of the forum - reading, posting, contributing, posting a picture in your siggy, etc. I think it costs like 50 points to open an attachment - so if it's something you want to use often, be sure to save it to your computer. I don't think it costs any points to click on a link. I'll donate some points to you to get you started. But they add up fast the more you participate!

i have a NuBra - and it's ok. i never wear them w/o support below - like a shirt that i feel will hold them in place. so i don't wear them too often - i don't feel like they're secure enough. but many people rave about them.

I'd say yes, it is normal. I think most of the girls on this site went through the same thing. And to be honest - if I could do my wedding over again, I"d have a different dress. But I still loved it - and it worked. I guess in the end it didn't matter that much to me. So sit with it for a bit - and see what you feel. YOu don't have that much time to change your mind though - a lot of dresses can take up to 6 mos to come in! I'm sure you will find something you love though, if your current dress isn't it!

I've been on a few cruises - none were wedding related, but I can still add a few tidbits of info. And a good friend of mine is getting married on a cruise in Feb. 2009 (well, at one of the ports). I'm still trying to get her to join the forum!
