  2. welcome! i was married in June (Leigh was my photog!) and it really wasn't that bad. sure it was warm - but it will be in May too! and by the beach, there's usually a decent breeze. I do think you could plan a wedding by May though - you just may need to be a little flexible with your location and date.
  3. i had some similar ones made from aylee, and used different ones for different things. like i wanted a more "fun and casual" one for the OOT bags, and then another one for the wedding newsletter we handed out.
  4. how fun to log on and see this ... CONGRATULATIONS! you got your 2007 baby afterall. i can't wait to hear more!
  5. right - I think it's about # of posts, not so much the points. but i actually don't know the exact #s needed for each level!
  6. OOOOOHHHHH fun for me. but tough - I have a feeling I will keep coming back to this thread. Since I had never been to Caletas before our wedding day, AND since I wasn't feeling well that day I did no exploring or anything. I basically sat up in the bridal casita just hoping i'd feel better and not have to get sick while walking down the aisle. Anyway - this means that I had never seen our wedding site, or anything (the casita is way up in the jungle). So when I was walking down the curvy trail (or "aisle" - lol) I started to see where I was about to be married. It was breathtaking - and I was seeing it for the first time. I couldn't believe how it look with the jungle, the rocks, the ocean, and all my friends and family. Then as I came into sight, and could see everything - everyone had the largest smile on their faces, and they clapped ... it was so not formal, but it was genuine. And amazing. And now I am tearing up writing this - in a good way. And I know there are many more moments ... but I have a load of laundry waiting ... lol
  7. not cool ... we want pics too! how exciting for you ... and your soon-to-be-famous offspring!
  8. oooohhhh - I got this recipe from a friend a few years ago, and have made them ... they're AWESOME! I love these biscuits!
  9. welcome to another MN bride! the girls here have given many options ... so let us know if you need help!

But ... if you want it to be Jane (first name) Sue Smith (middle name) Doe (last name) then you need both your original middle and last name on the same line. Basically, if have to decide if your last name will be Smith Doe, as opposed to moving your maiden name to your middle name. Does that make sense? Wow. Confusing for me to write much less read. hehe I agree with Tami! And that's exactly what I did ... I chose to move my maiden name to a 2nd middle name. I wanted my last name to ONLY be Paul's last name, no hyphenation or otherwise. Using Tami's example, I did ... First Name: Jane Middle Name: Sue Smith Last Name: Doe But if you want 2 last names, I'd put them both in the last name field, just dont' put in the hyphenation.
  11. we got to Mexico on Saturday, and got married the following Friday, so we were there almost a full week before the wedding. then we left for Hawaii the day after the wedding. that was one thing i'd change - i really wish we had a day after the wedding to say goodbye to people and just relax. but i also didn't feel good - so that was part of the reason!
  12. welcome to the forum! I was married at Las Caletas this past June, and there are quite a few others that have been or will be married there. Jamy (starchild) being another very active member. There are some links in my siggy if you're interested. Let us know how we can help!
  13. oh yea - that packet would go right into the garbage if it were me.
  14. Mrs: I have to agree with Rachelle (redwards), and then there's Sarah, and Christine BTB: This is a toughie, there are way too many! Let me scour the forum for some names ...
  15. OMG - so adorable. I can't wait until we get a dog! This little guy HAS to put a smile on your face. Quote: Originally Posted by JaimeLynne ATTN: MODS - If you happen to read this could you please change the title to include (UPDATED - With Pics!)? TIA! ~Jaime done!
  16. I see you've already responded - and I think it's perfect. I wouldn't have stooped to her level either! I was going to suggest using "we" and "us" terms a lot, just to make a subtle point.

  18. we didn't do announcements, well not really. we did put a wedding photo on our christmas cards - and more people got the cards than were invited to the wedding - so i figured it was kind of like an announcement.
  19. I am so glad you came back to post these, I was worried we wouldn't hear from you again! Your pictures are great - like Jamy said, I just never tired of looking at photos from LC. the smiles on your faces are sooo genuine - you can just see how happy you were!
