  2. Vanessa, you have no idea how excited I am for your wedding day ... I can't wait for you to experience the magic that is Caletas! I hope your day is even just half as perfect as mine was, and that it's everything you've dreamed of. Oh, and hurry back and tell us all about it, and share the pictures!
  3. We got to hear little Nugget's heartbeat today ... 160 and going strong. Everything seems to be going as it should - let's just hope we can keep it that way! Dr. Gibeau reminded me of the importance of keeping my blood sugars in check. And I know this - but I need to be better, it's easy to get lazy. It's more than a full time job, it's a 24/7 job and sometimes I just want to not think about it! But for my health, and Nugget's - I need to keep on top of things. ------------------- On another note, our "kitchen guy" came over last night to finalize the plans for the remodel. He starts Monday! This weekend we need to clean out the cupboards, and just get everything out of the way for the demo to start next week. The hell of living without a kitchen while working from home while pregnant will begin in just a few days!
  4. i've only tried a couple times today, but it worked for me. i know, that doesn't help!
  5. funny - i thought it was just me too, since no one said anything. it went from being about as wide as my screen, to a tiny litlte box!
  6. oh, that's AWESOME, Christa! progress ... that's huge!
  7. Oh, Tammy, I am so relieved for you! It's going to be so nice for you to have a little free time to get things done for yourself.
  8. honestly, i'd say stick with what you have. i just don't ever spend that much time in my room when i'm on vacation. but it's really a personal preference! it seems the junior suite is really nice too. oh, and you HAVE to let them know you're getting married and it's your honeymoon - they will often upgrade you for free!
  9. it did actually work for me - but i've heard that it's not working for some.
  10. try searching for Peter Hatton - i came up with a few hits
  11. Ya know - we actually did this! My WC sent home the top tier of our cake, and we put it in the hotel freezer. But we were leaving the next day for Hawaii. So I told my dad, who was heading home to MN the next day - if he wanted to deal with lugging the cake back to the US, through customs, and 1 flight connection, he certainly could. But I wouldn't want to, and wouldn't blame him if he didn't either! But when we got home from Hawaii - our cake was in our freezer! Now, I'm not 100% sure I'll eat it on our anniversary - but maybe we'll take some pictures or something!

  14. well yes, i guess i could do that! lol

  16. So I have my 12 week doctor appointment tomorrow. We get to hear the heartbeat I think! While I really don't expect anything dramatic to happen, I can't help but wonder in the back of my mind .... "what if they can't hear the heartbeat" ... "what if they find something wrong." I have no rational reason to think this, and I am not sure where it's coming from, but I can't help it!
  17. Since this is my first blog entry, I thought I'd post a little about ME! I think most of you know, but here's a summary. Paul and I met in Chicago in 2001 when I was a consultant working at his company. Ironically, I was brought in to train Paul in the software that I specialize in. Well, I did that, and more! We started dating in 2003, and I moved to Chicago from Minneapolis in 2005 to be closer to him. Then Paul and I moved from Chicago, where he is from, to Minneapolis, where I am from, in April 2007 - right before the wedding. We were married on June 8, 2007 at Las Caletas. Caletas is a private beach cove area just south of Puerto Vallarta. It was an absolutely magical day! We then took a 1 week honeymoon in Hawaii ... again, absolutely fabulous. Then in October 2007 we were blessed to get pregnant with our first baby - who is due July 16, 2008 ... it's quickly approaching! There's so much more - but that's a little about Paul and I, and what's been happening over the last year or so for us!

We can't afford one so we are renting the equipment. ummm, if i am your DJ you'll likely have to listen to an array of 80s pop songs ... i LOVE those!
  19. oh stephanie, i'm so sorry you're dealing with all of this! and it's so dang cold here - the thought of a gas/heat issue is just awful. i'm just minutes away from where you're getting married - if there's anything i can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask!
  20. this was definitely the hardest decision for us! can you tell us a little bit about what you're looking for, or countries/regions you're considering? we'll try to help!
  21. at first glance, i see these for $1.49 each if you order more than 12 (not sure what size you want though): Large Orange Gerbera Daisy 7" Flower Head 29" tall - $2.99 each / 12 for $1.49 each and these are $.59 each if you buy more than 12: Silk Gerbera Daisy Apricot & Orange - 4" Flower Head 22" tall - 12 for $7.08 SPECIAL don't be afraid to bargain either - if you want a lot, most places will be willing to come down in price.
