and my weekends are pretty empty ... which is why I will go along with what the busier gals decide.

I am free most weekends ... at least right now. I will have a weekend that I will be in FL visitng my dad, and Chicago visiting family - but right now we haven't booked anything. I THINK I will be gone the weekend of Feb. 29, and March 29, but that could change. Does anyone have a tighter schedule (I'm sure most of you do!) that wants to suggest an open date?

Sarah - you sure about this? It sounds like you're going to be quite busy! lol

We didn't do a site visit - nor did I think one was necessary. The first time I saw my hotel (Dreams PV) was when we arrived there for the week of the wedding, and the first time we saw our wedding site was as we were walking down the aisle. Honestly, it's not at all necessary if you have a WC or someone to contact for everything you need. There are some that are more "control freaks" (I only mean that in a positive way!) that need to do site visits, some more than once!, but honestly, it wasn't something we had time to do, and we didn't need to!

So in short, if there's already a thread out there on the topic you'd like to discuss - absolutely revive it!

I could be wrong - but I actually think that most people don't have a rehearsal at a destination wedding. But if you want one - I'd say do it later in the day.

try reading some of the wedding reviews - i think most girls put the name of their trios in there. although some might not know the names - i know i didn't know the name of mine, my WC just arranged it (but I was in PV)
