I didn't have a bridal party, but Paul's family threw me a shower. However, I didn't want a shower at all, let along a bachelorette party - so I guess our situations are a little different. But I did go out to dinner with a few of my closest girlfriends, and some came with gifts - so maybe that was like a shower ... but really it was just dinner and drinks with close friends! It was quite nice, actually.

I used Tammy as well - she was great to work with. My wedding was in PV - and she not only helped with the travel aspect, but also the coordination of my Welcome Dinner at Dreams PV.

I think I would be fine barefoot (but I do kind of love shoes too!) but I know she would like to see shoes on my feet and she's caved on everything else... (Also, please realize this would in no way be a deal breaker! I'm only half serious about the shoe obsession) So what have people done about shoes? If I found a pair of low (around 1" inch) squared heels (not pointed) do you think those would work and not poke through? 3. TABLE SET UP - How many tables fit underneath the roof? I think the adults (and by that I mean my parents, my FI's parents, and our older relatives) will prefer to be seated under there because it has a slightly more formal/traditional feel to it. Our friends and cousins, etc. will love sitting on tables out nearer to the beach if necessary. Did anyone else find that the covered seating area felt more formal? Thank you for all the help! Congrats on the decision! 1) I think 1 person of my group of 60+ got ill, Paul's mom (oops) but she was fine right afterwards. The boat ride over was a "cocktail party" type of atmosphere from what I could tell. The boat ride back was the after party - some crazy stuff happening! 2) I had heels (1"), and some wedges - I wore neither all night, but put the wedges on later in the evening to walk back to the boat. I am so NOT a show person though. 3) I had a group of about 60 and we all fit under the canopy. Hope that helps!
