I don't think it's lame at all - I think it's sweet. Proposals don't have to be "over the top" to be a great story - ours wasn't.

some stayed just for the long weekend (Thurs - Sun, 3 nights) and some came for the week (7 nights) or longer, and everything in between!

Just going to agree with most everyone on here. Most of us aren't here only for the information, we're here because of the friendships we've made. Hell, my wedding was over 6 months ago ... I'm certainly not here to learn how to make wedding invites! I'm here to visit and catch up with my BDW buddies. I enjoy seeing the siggys and personal info. on here. Also, in my siggy I have links to my wedding review, pics, and video - so for those that ARE looking for info., my siggy makes it quite easy. Double bouns. And you may not care, but I know there are others out there that want to see how far along I am in my pregnancy, hence that ticker.
