I would do mine w/velum in aqua blue. those are so cute!

If I do, I'll schedule my rehersal for earlier in the afternoon or after your wedding, so that we don't have to worry about him having to time the traffic lights, etc. to be on time for your wedding (hee hee). What time is your ceremony scheduled for? Ya but he knows all the traffic lights! lol! right now we are planning around 6:30 or 7. I haven't decided yet! What time are you having yours?

As of right now I don't think I'm going to hire him for a rehersal! I don't think I need it! Oh that is funny you are getting married on the day I really wanted to get married but someone beat me too it at dreams. If you hire him for your rehersal the day before now you know what time he will be available at! lol

He gives a good first impression and was right on time for our meeting. He did stress the importance of starting the ceremony on time, as he often has more than one wedding a day. As an example, he explained how he has timed the stop lights, etc. My FI and I had a good feeling about him. We're pleased with our choice. Hope this helps! thank you so much! yes that helps a ton! When i talked to him on the phone he was very adamant on starting on time! that is funny as i'am always late. he was even telling me what time to start getting ready at! Thanks

Where do you live in Chicago (we live there too, which is why I ask)? We live in the city, I think it's called "West Town" area. I asked you the same thing in another thread( that's funny, well they just changed the name to west town, they put all those new signs. what are your cross streets. i'm ohio and ashland. If you live in west town we are right around the corner from each other.

  10. My FI is a buisness man and he has the expense sheet up all the time! He actually just sent me one today and it said $20K for total including everything. I personally think that is high end and I'm hoping for $15k. I wanted to do a destination wedding because 1- I was already married and had a huge 300 person wedding and I thought that was such a waste of $35k. 2- i wanted it to be fun and last longer with out all the high end costs!
  11. That is such a great idea! I love it! I think I want to give them both flowers at the beginning!

Welcome and good luck planning! You will love this site!
  17. So sorry to bring this up again! When i was talking with the minister he told me that sunset will be around 8pm june 2007. He told me that if i get married at 6 or 6:30 it would be way to hot! He told me to get married at 7pm and that i would still have plenty of light for pictures? I asked him about daylight savings time and he said the sun won't set until 8pm!!! did anyone figure this out for sure yet?
  18. I just booked our minister for the ceremony. Has anyone heard of or used Rev. Parsons? He seemed really nice and very informative!

I guess I should start looking! Thanks for the advice!
  21. This might be posted somewhere but what is the time frame that everyone is sending out there invitations. I just sent out save the dates about 1 week ago. I have everyone rsvp on the website if they are attending. So do I send out invitations to just the people that are going. I don't want people to feel bad that aren't coming if they then get an invitation when they told me they weren't coming. Any thoughts?
  22. Sarah, I love your dress! I think it is perfect for a beach wedding! When you have pictures of you in it make sure you post them! So I haven't been dress shopping yet and I was thinking of going after the holidays! How long does it usually take to order your dress? I might be pushing it?

So did you just get your proofs from him and that was it? Sorry for all the questions.
  24. Tammy, Thanks for the invitation! I loved your book! You look so pretty in it! Did you get a nice book from juan? Or did you just put this together for your main book?
