Part me me thinks these are kinda cute, different, and people can just put them on their 'fridge as a reminder. The other part of me thinks they're pretty cheesy. There are obviously many options for styles, but what do y'all think of the general idea? Be honest!! Magnets are great for all the reasos the other girls allready stated. What are your wedding colors? Maybe you could try to tie the colors together with your STD or Wedding invite. I have gotten tons of compliments on my magnets and people have told me how convenient it is to have that on their fridge to remember our website. Of the magnets you posted, I like the heart in the sand the best. Sarah those are gorgeous. What a great picture. QUESTION: How much more expensive it it to send these magnets out? They must be heavier than a regular invite. How many stamps?

HOW COOL!!! and ofcourse (sometimes my head is in the clouds) just buy another nice white dress. I just e-mailed leigh, to see about prices and packages. It said on the blog that wedding weekends start at 3300 or 3700 something like that. I'm sure I would have to pay extra for traveling fee. I cant wait to hear back from them. -

That sounds like it would make for some really great pics. Hmmm, but that eliminates any selling of the dress after the wedding. That was going to be one of my justifications in buying a desinger gown. -
Congratulations on the engagement, good luck with your planning.

Welcome Maria, cant wait to hear more details about the wedding!

Sarah, I bet hed love to do that. I'm sure no bride has afforded him the opportunity to do so. Its not every day that a bride says "to hell with the dress, that water looks so damn good I think I'll jump in right now!" OK, you have an extra dress, I think you must do this. Ask Juan....PLEASE! It only gives him a chance to be more creative. -
List Of Photographers In The Rm/cancun Area

FYI, I just received an e-mail from Sol Tamargo photography. She replied within a couple hours. I informed her that I would like a package list etc etc.... and that I was getting married sometime in late April to late May 2008. She is allready booked up all of may and only had like a week in April open. Price wise, she is a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion after seeing her work. Its what, 17 months or so from my wedding date and she is booked. SOOOO, if anyone is remotely interested in this photographer than I would try to get in touch with her ASAP, to see if she has any openings. -

Thanks Sarah, I do very well at ignorring my school work. Thank god this is my last semester. If I had found this site at the beginning of my school career I would have flunked out by now. Looking for this stuff is so much more appealing then looking up case law. Blahhhhh. -

I am hoping that the vouchers become available again so I can use them! Jen - I'll have to check out Puerta Vieja! What great prices and the food sounds so delicious! Do you think they could substitute a vegetarian option for the fish... hmmm... so if we did the dinner there with a two hour open bar (assuming the usual 15% gratuity/service and 10% tax) it would be: $4812.50 I have to say at this point I'm really leaning towards the taco bar w/ 2 hours of open bar (hey, if people want to keep drinking than they can but they'll have to pay for themselves at that point...). What do you guys think - that would be fun right? Should I put something in the invite about it? Maybe just post it on your website, either way really I suppose its just what you prefer to do and what you think will get the best RSVP response out of people. But I think youve made the right choice, and yes I think two hours open bar is plenty sufficient for a RD/WD. I dont know what these vouchers are all about either but good luck with that, hopefully they do come around again and you can save some $$.

I just e-mailed the women Sol. I'm waitting to hear back. I would love to use them. But if there is a traveling fee for her husband to come down to Mexico (he is her partner) than I will keep looking. I just feel like there has to be a good photogrpaher somewhere in the RM/Cancun area. I would hate to pay a traveling fee, I dont think I could. It isnt in my budget at all. -
