  1. Yeah Ann... Congrats, you will make a great mod for the PV brides.
  2. Oh, I'm sorry, I am not married yet, I was just posting a review I had found. I believe though that in order to have a chapel wedding it must be catholic and legal. I could be wrong but I do know that there is some sort of stipulation with Mexico and being married in a church. The other girls around here will know more about this then me.
  3. Those are really pretty ideas. I wish I was more crafty. I cant even figure out how to make a good paper snowflake nevermind anything else.
  4. We are so confused on this topic. I had thought for sure we would invite about 50-75 guests and count on probably 30 ish comming. But now we have been talking about picking our closest 2 or 3 friends and their significant other for a low key romantic adults only wedding. Ahhhh, this is such a confusing issue.
  5. I love the sepia toned pictures. We have a bunch up in our house. Of little things like the first restaurant we had our first date at etc. The sepia is so warm and inviting. Jamaica looks to lush and tropical.

  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! WHAT A FUN SEASON FOR YOU, WEDDINGS HOLIDAYS AND BIRTHDAYS....WOHOO.
  11. Welcome, I have read some great reviews for both of these resorts. We love the looks of El Dorado so much that we have been seriously considering just having a handfull of couples join us for a wedding there as opposed to our other child friendly resort. Maybe look through and see which resort offers the best wedding packages. I know El Dorado has a free package as long as you book a cassita sweet for a certain number of nights.
  12. Welcome V, Tammys right there are so many options when it comes to the RM. I am looking into the Occidental Grand Xcaret as my first option. Child friendly and not to expensive, but the beach there is man made... Its more known for their great pools. The RM has wonderful blue carribean beaches though so I"m sure you wont have a problem finding one that suits your needs. Let us know how we can help.

Her website is http://www.tammsphotos.com/info/, if you are interested. She does not charge extra for travel. Thanks for the info on the photographer. The El Dorado looks buetiful. We want to honeymoon there. Good luck in your planning, if you have any questions or info post away. This site is great for information and advice.
  14. There is a thread in the Riviear Maya/Cancun forum with a list of some photographers. Nope I'm not married yet. I will try and keep my eye out for pictures of weddings at Secrets Excellence Riviera, I am having trouble gathering pictures at my location to so I know how you feel. If I find any pics I will post them and send you a PM to let you know.

I totally agree with Tammy on this one Jill. Elizabeth Madina is local and her first package is 2950.00 her shoots are buetifull. This includes 6 hours, web gallery, web slide show, and negatives too. Look into her and see if she has your date available. That way your sister can relax and enjoy too.

Hey Girls, I posted this in one of the other threads but I'll post it here too. Sol e-mailed back again saying that she was booked for the month of May 2007, she thought I had inquired about 2007 not 2008. And it was only the last half of April and the full month of May that she said she was booked. Those are the only dates I asked about though. Dont rule her out if your considering her she might have your date available.

  19. Short but sweet review! Quote: We were married on July 1, 2006 in the chapel. After, our twenty-six guest and we had champagne and canapés on the beach, then finished the evening with an outstanding five-course meal on the patio. The chef and staff made it a truly wonderful experience. Yuritzia, the wedding coordinator was amazing! We had questioned, and she answered them. We had requests, i.e. incense in the chapel, and she made sure it happened. She made herself available and patiently worked with us to prepare for our day.
