Thanks Tammy, from what I have heard that is not the swimable ocean part of the resort which to me seems good because you dont have to worry about people laying out on the beach in your wedding pictures but to the person that wrote the review it was a bad thing, like she was warning people, I'm not sure why.

Here is a picture of the Occidental Grand Xcaret Wedding Gazebo. I have e-mailed the WC at the resort and have asked her to send me pictures and to tell me of my options in terms of gazebos and beach wedding area at the resort. It took her two weeks to reply to my first e-mail but in that e-mail she said that she would be sending me information. As of now I am just patiently waitting.... As soon as I hear anything I will post it. I am hoping they have other options as well, maybe another gazebo etc... This is just a candid picture that someone took while on vacation.

Its great to have recomendations around here for the Riviera/Cancun brides because we do not have many if any brides that are allready married and can supply us with reviews and recomendations on certain suppliers/vendors etc. It sounds like you are doing just fine with the resorts wedding cordinator (WC). If you think the resorts WC is giving you some high quotes for cetain things then it really does pay to do some reseach and find out what the going rate is and if you can do it for less money. Good Job on that one. Looks like you might not need to hire an outside WC, you seem to being doing good on your own. Your bouqet is buetiful by the way. And what a nice idea for the lounge furniture.

Ryan and I have been together since August of 2001. So, around 5 1/2 years or so. I have never been so happy with someone. He is the greatest friend I could ever ask for. And his family is terrific too. I am the luckiest girl in the world.

Have you booked anything besides your resort/location? How bout photographer, music (i.e. djs, mariachi, etc..)? Are you using the resort WC or a different WC?
