  1. Welcom, like Tammy said If you are flexible with your dates I am sure you can do it. I would think the number one priority would be to book your site first! Take a look around here there are some really good resorts in both the PV and RM area. Good luck! let us know how we can help.
  2. Welcome, wow how great only 6 weeks. Dont worry you will find tons of information on the stuff you need to get done. I cant wait to hear more about your wedding. What are your colors? How many guests? Good luck and if you have any problems finding anything around here just ask!
  3. Hey Tammy, really late to reply but wanted to give my support also. Hang in there, and yes, take a breather from the wedding. Enjoy Christmas and make the limited time you spend with Cain, quality!!!
  4. Sarah your card is great. And yes, definitly better late than never. Your one up on me. I'm a very bad girl and not even sending them out.
  5. I love your pictures. Rustic Antique and buetiful. They would actually go perfectly with the decor in my house lol. You are a gorgeous couple!!!
  6. Welcome Stefani. If you need any help let us know.
  7. Kash, I love the empire gown. The back is great with the lace detail. You cant beat that price either. I cant wait to start dress shopping. How fun.
  8. Taryn that is a good deal when you break it down like that. I'm having trouble getting through her website. I can get on to the homepage but thats it. Would you be able to post her contact info?
  9. Welcome, You will have no problem finding help on this site. May is a very popular month to get married in Mexico. I would definitly try to see what resorts have your dates open and than decide from there.
  10. I kind of like the all ivory for your flowers, because you allready have so much color with the other flowers and the bridesmaids dresses, and RM itself is very vibrant with color. Just my opinion though.

  12. Ell, If you have narrowed it down to those two resorts then your doing good. Both resorts have good reputations in regards to weddings. Both resorts are also very different in their style. Dorado has a very rustic mexico look to it while Aventura has a more modernized look. It is really just a matter of which style you like the best. Also I would e-mail both resorts and start getting some information on prices and packages that they offer. Check to see how far away they are from the airport, from the center of town where guests can get their easily if they want a night out. ETC!!! I would make a list of important things to you. For example 1. Cost 2. look and style 3. Distance from airport/town 4. Beach quality 5. Pools 6. Food quality etc etc..... Than do some research and compare the two resorts! Good luck!

(poor me) I agree Ann, poor you! That would totally bum me out. I checked out some of the other websites that were posted in this thread in hopes to find a photographer with good quality and lower rates but no such luck. I guess this is just the going rate for decent photographers. Our photographer will be the most expensive thing we book! I would even consider hiring a photographer that was in between as far as quality goes but there arent any. I either find photographers that I'm sorry to say but SUCK in my opinion I'm not mentioning any names, or photographers that are outstanding but cost a good amount of money. Good luck in your searches!

Riu does sound like it fits your description. Also, when you are looking for a resort look to see how far it is from PDC's center. If you choose a resort that is a cheap taxi ride away from PDC then your guests have more options for night life. That way if your guests who like to party dont think the resorts night life is all that great they can go into town and find plenty of good drinking spots. From what I have read PDC can be a real fun time. So no matter where you stay you should try and plan one night out on the town anyhow!
  15. They are all so pretty. I think I like number 1 or 2. They are both pretty in different ways.

  18. Ann, this is horrible. AGH, I hope no one books for your date!!!!! I'm keeping every thing crossed for you!!!!
  19. I wont even let myself think about e-mailing her. Ryan almost fell of his rocker when I told him about Elizabeth Madines prices, I couldnt imagine even approaching him about Sols.
  20. Ann, I just got this e-mail a little bit ago to. Another good slideshow too bad she is sooooo expensive.
