We tried to use the Dreams horses but they only would book until 4:00pm I think. Our trash the dress didnt start until 5:00pm. I'm not exactly sure "which" stable I used because Juan directly booked them for me. Edyta got her photos taken with the horses on the day of her wedding. I dont think it was a trash the dress shoot but rather just part of her pics in between the ceremony and the reception. The good thing about Juans horses (I'm assuming Dreams horses too) is that you dont have to travel anywhere to get to them. The horses literally just appear on the beach. The stable is somewhere down the beach to the left of Dreams. Maybe you can get the Dreams horses for cheaper if you do the TTD shoot a little earlier.

You know what I think it is, I could be wrong. But, first of all I think they price higher because its not a "trail ride" with more people etc etc, they have to take seperate time out and go to a different location for a private horse ride. And secondally at least this is what Juan told me, was that the horses he got for us werent the beat up trail ridding horses they were nice "show" quality horses. If that makes sense. My sister did go on a trail ride and let me tell you I saw pictures of the horses they rode and they were not that great looking and were so small I thought they were ponies at first. The horses we had for the TTD were big and beautiful. But I agree I was shocked when i first heard how much it would cost us but now I'm kind of thankful.

Ana Juan got me our horses for $300.00 for the TTD shoot. You might want to try and ask him. he will give you the guys name and contact info and you can set it up from there. Are you able to see my review if you go under the Cabo Reviews section of the forum and then access it? Thats so weird that you cant get to it through the link. Hmmmm. lol, This pic cracks me up I hope Juan got some good shots of it. We had such a good time

Wow 6,000.00 is huge money, you must be having a ton of flowers how pretty. I never bardered with Martha so I cant say much about that, but Orchids were more expensive then the roses. I had originally wanted orchids and roses but decided we just couldnt afford it. Maybe you could go with a little more roses then orchids to bring the total bill down. Good Luck.

Awww I dont have any advice but the poor thing. I hate seeing animals when they are scared and timid. My advice is to give her lots of love and hugs.

I am an associate probation officer, who is overqualified for the job and way under paid! But it is a foot in the door and if I can get a better position with in the next year or two I will be right where I want to be. So the answer to the question is NOT ENOUGH DAMNIT! I have to bartend on the weekends just to make sure the student loan bills get paid, not good not good at all, lol.

Would Do Again OOT Bags - Our guests loved them, and I think it really made them feel like they were part of this special event and not just on some random vacation. They also used the bag itself to carry poolside stuff (camera, suntan lotion etc) down to the pool area, which was also really helpful because in the morning we all knew where the others pool chairs were because of the bags. Destination Wedding - I cant believe I ever questioned doing it this way for one second. This was the one of the smartest decisions I have ever made. DJ - We didn't want to spend a lot on a DJ but I also didn't want to rely on an ipod. We hired a very inexpensive DJ and I made all the Cd's myself and gave them to him to mix and fade with specific instructions not to play anything but our music. He cost just a little more then it would have for the Ipod speaker system and music flowed much better then an IPOD would have. High End Photographer - To me pictures where the most important aspect of our wedding, our photographer put us over budget but It was well worth it IMO. Small Budget for Flowers - We had some beautiful flowers but not many of them. The scenery is so stunning at a DW that we really didn't need to dress the place up with a lot of expensive flowers. Not hire an outside WC - The extra cost would have been money thrown out the window for us. Everything turned out perfectly and our resort WC was so helpful we didn't need an outside WC. Welcome dinner cruise - What a fantastic way to show our guests the main sites of Cabo, we all had so much fun. All Inclusive Resort - By far the best choice for us and our group. Splurged on the Dress - It was on the high end of my budget and I really wanted to spend about half of what I did but when its "the dress" you just know it and I'm glad I went with my gut instinct and bought it. Not spend a lot on Cake - We didn't spend anything on our cake. We took the one that came with the package and had the WC throw some rose petals on it. It came out beautifully and no-one ate it anyways. We had our twin niece and nephew (almost 3 years old) cut the cake with us which they were soooo excited to do. Cake was just not a big deal to us. Wouldn't Do Again Not Have A Video-ographer (sp?) - This is my BIGGEST regret. Your wedding goes by so fast, I was so nervous I don't think I remember one moment of the Ceremony. And there are so many little moments that I'm sure I missed. And I just want to watch it, I will never have that day back and if I had it taped I could relive it over and over again. Stay for only a week - We stayed 8 nights 9 days and only had one day to ourselves at the end. We could have used 2 or 3 more days. During the week with family and friends and wedding activities you wouldn't believe how little time you actually get to spend with you fiancé. Timing of the First Dance - I was so dead set on getting all the formalities out of the way that I insisted on having the first dance the second hubby and I arrived at the Reception. What a mistake it was still daylight out and people were just being served their apps, and I was still a ball of nerves. It would have gone much better after dinner and a few cocktails and at dusk.

I agree Tulum seems like the place for you. I have never been so no first hand advice here, but we are planning a vacation next year at Dreams Tulum and we picked Dreams Tulum for exactly all the reasons you have stated.

Great review Michelle. That kind of stinks that Maye dropped the ball so many times. Your place settings were gorgeous. And the two of you looked like you had a blast!

We just had our wedding and Martha did wonderfully. Showed up with the flowers 15 minutes early then she said. All flowers were fresh and beautiful. I think our total cost was around 7 or 800.00? for 6 table reception pieces, 3 bouquets, 1 butineere, 2 bags of rose petals. We used all hot pink roses for everything.

I was just married at Dreams but had Marianna as my Dreams WC, she was the absolute best, I have heard good things about Yessica also. IMO you DO NOT need to use budgeted wedding money for an outside cordinator save that money and put it towards something else.
