Sarah those are some great shots, I love how everyone looked so relaxed and comfortable like you were all best friends.

I havent bought the dress yet but hopping to stay under 500.00 Good luck I know if I fell in love with a dress that was over budget I would probably end up buying it. If you are that in love with the 2k dress than I say get it.

Great pics the wedding looked buetifull, god that must be hands down the best gazebo for a DW.

We are going to have our reception at the Oceana Terrace only because we at the very most still expect less than 30 guests and also I dont think you can have the lanterns at the Cascada and that is a MUST for me.

Oh Boy, yes kind of...We are NOT inviting children except we had to make an exception with Ryans sister she had twins and they will be there, as to other guests if it is necassary that they can only come to our DW if they bring there children then so be it, but we would definitly prefer it if the little ones stayed home. As far as your situation goes this is your wedding your day that only comes once and I dont blame you for wanting it to be adults only, your guests should except that. I feel like Ive said this before but Ive run into a couple problems with fiances mother wanting an at home wedding and finally after being all upset about I decided to just except the fact that this is our wedding and we are doing it the way we want to do it and if certain people cant be there than that is ok too. Weather there are 4 guests our 24 guests we will have our dream wedding in Cabo and have a great time.

I am the first to book a bodouir with him but its not till September so maybe he will have done one by than. He seems really excited about it but he did say that he hasnt done this before so if it all comes out horribly than he wouldnt charge me. The tricky part is going to be getting Ryan to be somewhere else at the time of the B pics. Juan is comming to the resort at 5:00 for b-pics and engagement pics. I think I might just tell Ry that Juan is comming at 6:00 but I am meetting with a surprise vendor in the hotel room at 5:00 so go hang out by the pool until than. I'm hoping if I tell him that I have a special surprise that I dont want him to know about until the wedding that he will just respect that and chill by the pool for an hour. Hes usually pretty good about stuff like that and I dont think for a second he would think I was getting b-pics done because I am so shy about my body usually.

When I drop 5 pounds which reminds me I need to get my ass to the gym lol. No seriously probably right after our Site visit in September. Thats still 8 months out from our wedding date so I should have enough time right? I ordered a couple of babydoll camis from VS yesturday for my bodouir session with Juan, I'm really excited but completely nervous.

No I didnt, I tried taking a picture but it just did not look nice at all. Its pretty simple platinum basnd with 1.2 carrot brilliant center stone and 40 itty bitty diamonds sourounding it. Kind of antiquey. The rest of my planning is great. All I really have left to do is pick the bouquet and than start gathering stuff for OOT bags, decorations, and center pieces etc etc. Photographer, DJ, Hair & Makeup, and Location are all booked. And we are going to stick to the buffet dinner so I really dont even need to worry about food either, I'm just going to have Marianna decide what she thinks is best. I love this no stress DW stuff. Shoot I suppose I still need a dress though. I bet I will start getting stressed when I try to become a mini Martha Stewart, I'm just not very talanted when it comes to that stuff.

Congratulations, your wedding sounded so buetifull!!!

We will have the DJ for our ceremony as well as cocktail hour and reception, its a bit cheaper than hiring "live" music and we have certain songs that we want played at certain times so it works better for us.

I went with No, just because I think maybe you could save a few dollars on a vendor here and there but in the long run with all the useful info on the web and on this forum really you might be paying more for the WC than you would save on the vendors.

Tami you look great I'm sure Tom will be very excited to see them!

Welcome to the forum. I was considering getting married at the Occidental Xcaret and found that the property and resort was great and would be really nice for a wedding but you are right, the WC their edith I think is her name is not the best, shes kind of hard to get a hold of and isnt real clear in her responses but I'm sure with the help on this forum and a little persistance you will have wonderful wedding
