  1. I would suggest doing it just like any other 1 pm wedding in the states. Go get your pictures done immidietly afterwards while your gusts are enjoying cocktail hour and than before you know it it will be 2:30 or 3:00 pm and you can serve a nice meal. Maybe serve ourderves until 4:00 and than serve dinner.
  2. I think if you are going to register at all then that is a great idea

    Hello

Hello and welcome, have fun planning and dont be afraid to ask questions
  5. Those are great, it looks like a lot of work but I'm sure it feels worth it now
  6. Hell ya, another thing to check off DONE or at least ordered anyways! Heres what they will look like. I spent an extra 100.00 and purchased two "reception" cards that arent going to be used as a reception card but one of them will let everyone know that if they want to come they need to try and book as soon as they can, and the other one has all of our travel agents (Tammy, host) contact info on it. We will see how it goes, I cant possibly make it ANY easier for our guests.
  7. Hi Sara welcome to the forum
  8. Thanks I would really appreciate that . I was just going to go through Dreams for the flowers but it cant hurt to look around a little.
  9. Thanks girls I got it I think! Told guests that the resort will probably fill to capacity for May 2008 by November 2007 so if they do plan on joining us to please book as soon as possible. Good enough, now lets see if they actually pay attention lol.
  10. So I am in the middle of ordering our formal invites and i am including a small card that will let people know that if they are planning on comming they need to try and book as soon as possible (like before November) as our resort gets full quick. How do I put this..... any suggestions would be so helpfull.
  11. I have REALLY curly hair too. I think i might just wear it loosely up. You could definitly have someone straighten it out and than do any updo really. Normally for any event I straighten my hair but Ryan loves the curls and I dont want to look to to different from who I am on my wedding day. I say Rock the curls. half up or loosley all up would be the way I would go if I were you
  12. When I was seriously considering OGX I was working with Edith....who was so slow to respond if she even bothered responding at all. As far as this resort goes its kind of a difficult one to plan by e-mail, but I have heard some real great things about their weddings and the grounds of the resort are supposed to be gorgeous.

I'm going to do this too. Good idea! Should we put it somewhere on the invite or is that just to pushy?
  14. Thats one of my questions for Marianna too because we will have DJ Ron for the ceremony at the gazebo and the reception at the Oceana Terrace. I'm worried most of all that he is not aware that he will have to set up twice! maybe I will e-mail him to make sure, but I'll wait and ask Marianna first.
  15. Youll have to give us a review when you get back. We get excited whenever there is any info on this resort because the reviews are usually really good but just not that much out there as other resorts
  16. Erica, Love the little sage coach bag, our colors are the same sage/brown! Those totes are super cute too and the cake topper is gorgeous .
