  2. But now I'm thinking a size 6 would be better because of the style I want. I'm going for something very bohemian/hippie. Something with an empire waist, which would mean the only fitted part of the dress would be in the chest area, which makes me think I should order a 6 so that the straps and chest fit snuggly and arent to big. An 8 would just be swimming on my chest area I think. UGH I'm so confused!

You know what I mean, easier to take in that let out, only so much to work with there. Good advice, thats what I figured thanks! Quote: Originally Posted by starfish kate I'm right there with you! 6. I probably will unless something absolutly wows me in a store. I just dont have any time off (work Monday through Saturdays) to actually go gown shopping. So I will take one day off to gown shop and if "my" gown isnt out there that day than online it is!
  7. Adjusted which way though let in or let out. Its easier to have it taken in right. Maybe I should go with an 8 then.
  8. K so I'm sure I've asked this before but what size do I want to order again? If I am a small size 4 (sometimes a size 2) than would I order a size 8? that doesnt sound right to me. Heres the reason it doesnt seem right. Any extra weight I do carry is in my thigh area (yup thats me thunder thighs) so usually when I have been in a bridal party or event I am a size 2 in dress. becuase the tight part of a dress is usually more on the upper body where I have absolutly nothing straight waiste no chest no boobs just a small upper body in general. Kind of boyish looking. Any one with this body type or suggestions
  9. Have fun, eat good, drink lots, and take some great pics, not necasserily in that order!

  11. This might be rude to ask, but would you mind telling us what the store price was verse the online price. How much was the savings? I would love a gorgeous name brand dress but I would have to go the online route as well.
  12. No advice but have fun and tell us all about it ASAP
  13. I'm going with Marria, she gives great advice and is just SUPER!
  14. I'm not positive but I believe they are relativly equal in price. Not sure about the actual price of the wedding though.
  15. We are getting married at 5:00pm. Not sure about times hopefully cocktail hour to start at 5:30pm and reception to start at 6:30 pm.
  16. I love it, perfect for the beach the beige in it is also really nice
  17. Both have had really good reviews I think the reason we choose Dreams is because the look and feel of the resort was more our style. But both resorts have great wedding packages and host good weddings its a tough one. RIU is bigger, closer to town, a little more modern. Dreams is smaller, more quaint and intimate feeling. This is just my opinion though.
  18. We are staying at AI and I might change my mind but as of now I think we might just put in our welcome letter for the OOT bags a designated spot/bar at the resort for everyone to meet up the first night. I might look into actually hosting something but I dont want my guests to feel like the whole vacation is about US, I want to make sure I give them enough space, so if I just casually say lets meet up rather than host and pay for something it might be received as a little less intrusive on their vacation.
  19. I half expected the guy to be like "we will cancel your membership but your a dumb ass for not reading the fine print so we wont give you your money back that we have allready charged you for" I was so relieved that he just right off said that they will reimburse me, but it also makes me think that the whole thing must have been done kind of shady and maybe they are having problems with a lot of costumers because of it and are now just being told to give any customer who call their money back immidietly! I really dont remember reading anywhere they I would be paying a monthly fee for some membership. Hmmmmmmm.
  20. OOPS, I ordered my Vista Print STD's about 3 months ago. 1. I was really happy with them they came quickly and Ive ordered items before from vista print and never had a problem....but Apparently this time when I ordered I also clicked on a "get 10.00 back" icon at the end of my purchase. I dont remember this but I was probably in a rush and didnt really read the fine print so really it is my fault. Anyways to make a long story short since I ordered my STD's Vista print has been charging me a monthly fee of 15.00 bucks. I guess while trying to get 10.00 back I at the same time "signed" up for their membership? Oh well, I called Vista Print this morning and everything is fixed and they are reimbursing me my money, it was super easy and the guy was really friendly. I will continue to place orders through Vista Print, but I know that a lot of us girls have used them so I just wanted to let you know to check your bank statement or credit card statement incase any of you made the same stupid mistake I did.
