The most basic pro and con of each Oceana = smaller area, more private, by the small pool, better for smaller weddings Cascada = bigger area, by the big pool, better view (amazing view), but less private, better for larger wedding partys

I know feelings are strong right now but I would still send one. At least you can always say (when he eventually regrets not going) that you tried to include him. I think almost everyone of us has had some kind of issue similar to yours. It just comes with the territory of having a DW. It does make you feel so horible though and mad at the same time. my Fiances mom did this to us to not as bad as your brother in law but to some extent but now she is comming and is very excited but still bitches a little.

Ive been looking for this thread, gorgeous dress I love it. I think I found mine last night too but we still have two more appointments at other bridal shops before I make my final decision. I felt the same way though I found a picture on the internet and it didnt do it justice to what it looked like in person. Congrats I love it so pretty!

Absolutly. We are doing it in Cabo and our WC (the resorts cordinator) said it was a great idea and that I should pick a drink that goes with our colors. I dont see why they couldnt do it ecspecially if you forwarn them.

You know my opinion I love the table runner idea and the ones you found are really cute. I say go for table runners it will add some color without being to over the top.

To dress our table cloths up I was going to steal Jennattas (dreams 07 bride) idea and use runners. Her tables were so pretty. I just updated my list with the Reception dinner we chose to. They really do give you a lot to choose from. Appetizer Soup or Salad Main Course Dessert Its definitly a 4 course meal. E-mail Yessica and have her e-mail you the menu. That way you can start picking out what you want.

So we got back from our site visit and wanted to give an update on our plans. I have edited my first post with the changes. BUT... The biggest two changes we had to make. 1. Food 2. Colors 1.Food Marianna said that a buffet like we wanted was not such a good idea with only 20-30 guests. Damn I didnt even think of this or I would have done a taste test durring our site visit. But here is what we came up with for food at the Cocktail hour and Reception. Cocktail Hour (you get to pick 3 cold appetizers and 3 hot appetizers) COLD APPETIZERS 1. Choux with chikcen salad 2. Ceviche in Chalupa (fish) 3. Guacamole and salsa with tortilla chips HOT APPETIZERS 1. Chile Popper (stuffed jalapenos) 2. Spinach quiche 3. Chicken Hot Wing (Ryan picked this one not my fav but had to let him) Reception Dinner (you get to choos one appetizer, one soup or salad, one main course, and one dessert) APPETIZER = Snow Crab Cake served with avocado and tomato dressing Soup or Salad = Tomato salad with basil and black olives Main Course = Sea bass fillet served with fresh asparagus and portobello mushroom with beurre sauce Dessert = Tulip of strawberry with grand marnier sauce and vanilla ice cream. A little about the food in Cabo and the reasons we choose the menu we did. First of all the fish is outstanding in Cabo. We were worried because we are from Cape Cod and relatively speaking are kind of fish snobs, but it was great. As for the menu selecitons we werent sure of I just simply asked Marianna her honest opinion on what she thought was the best, and we went from there. A review on some of our choices that we had while in Cabo; Guacamole = so fresh and so good Hot wings = not my favorite but a lot of meat and Ryan just loves chicken wings so I let him have the damn chicken wings as an Appetizer. Snow Crab Cake = To die for Sea Bass = incredible Tulip of Strawberry dessert = YUMMIE and light which I love! And as for colors. My colors were ivory and sage green. I told Marianna that we really wanted chair ties and she showed me the color green she had. YIKES it was lime green. NOPE no thanks, so after much deliberating we are going to do the chair ties in Navy Blue The table runners in Navy Blue The BM's dresses in Sage Green The flowers in green and ivory (orchids and roses) So our colors are officially now Navy Blue and Sage Green.

Heidi, I'm so sorry for your loss. I cant imagine what you both must be feeling right now. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

What a fun poll! Ok obviously when we first met it was like everyday AWWW and you never thought that would end, all your married friends would tell you that the sex wont last but you truly in your heart believe that this amazing lust for one another will last for ever. YA FREAKING RIGHT! 6 years later we are down to once a week on a good month. At the least maybe 3 times a month. Honestly the good thing is that we are both pretty much on the same page neither one of us wants it much more or much less. Really why have sex when there are so many good shows on T.V.?
