It doesn't help that I read a book that spoke of the evils of drinking milk from cows, but I refuse to give up cheese of any kind and I eat things made with it. I just don't enjoy it with cereal anymore. Soy milk has never really done it for me, but I've started getting into rice milk. It kind of tastes like horchata so I like it. I've not really looked into the research on rice vs. soy but I think I will. What are your preferences and why? I read the same book. I try and buy soy milk or organic milk for the most part but sometimes my budget calls for a gallon of skim milk. Trying to eat everything natural or organic can get really expensive. I'm like you though I'm not willing to give up my cheese EVER!
  2. I just read this book. It is funny and a quick read. Like any diet book its sort of the same extremism towards one trainn of thought. I prefer to take a little out of every diet and just try to eat really natural and healthy for the most part. Instead of trying to strictly go by one diet or another.
  3. we are having trouble with this too. Ry older brother and his mom danced to Kenny Rogers and that is him moms FAVORITE singer so we feel like anything at this point is going to be kind of second best anyhow. Tough decision with limited choices for sure in my opinion. There was one James Taylor song that Ryan mentioned "youve got a friend" neither one of us love it but seriously its so hard to find anything fitting.
  4. yes a few girls on here have used the lanterns and I will be too. I got mine from orientaltradingpost.com or asianideas.com I cant remember. Dreams supplies the lighting you just bring the lanterns. we are also doing the paper bags with the tea lights in them Dreams will supply those for you also for $1.00 each I think, or you can bring your own.

  6. Erika, this is what we are going to try and do to. I think its the best idea, it gets our guests out of the resort for a night and do some site seeing all at the same time

  11. Thanks girls. I took the day off work so as long as my sisters laptop stays online I'm all yours for the day . I'm pampering myself a little today. I have the house to myself with good coffee and ofcourse the latest "US" magazine. I have a hair appointment and a little shopping to do mid morning and than a group of us are going out to our favorite restaurant tonight.
  12. thats great Tammy, I cant believe how much this place has blown up, and in such a small period of time. YIKES think of what it will be in a year from now or five years from now. WOW
  13. I'm super excited about them. I wanted the Suduko to but my OOT bags are getting pretty filled quickly and I need to STOP buying for them! Sunscreen and or Cards are the only thing left on my list for them.
  14. Hey guys Just wanted to let you know that they have little books of "Spanish Phrases for Dummie" at Target for a $1.00 each. I got them for my OOT bags today. They also have Suduko for Dummies and Cocktails for Dummies
  15. Great pictures Kate. I"m so happy your a happily married women now
  16. Yipee I'm so glad your back and happily married! Great review I'm glad everything came together so well. Were you upgraded to a honeymoon suite for free or did you pay for that? Thats great that you were on the fifth floor. When we were there for our site visit we were on the third floor and all I kept saying to Ryan was that I didnt care to to much about a free upgrade but I would be super happy if we got the top floor next time. I cant wait to see more pictures
  17. Roughly off the top of my head the ceremony is $25.00pp that includes location of gazebo or beach the ceremony itself open bar cocktail hour with your choice of 3 hot appetizers and 3 cold appetizers The Reception is also $25.00pp and includes location, set up, 4 course dinner, open bar
  18. great review, I love the tips at the end. Sounds like you had an amazing wedding.
  19. If you can fit it into your budget than I say go for it. If your guests really love Casinos and gambling and would normally never even consider a vacation location that does not have Casinos than I think it would be a really nice way for the two of you to acknowledge that. Plus, what a fun welcome dinner/party anyways! And Tammy (host) mentioned that once she had her welcome dinner/casino night it started a trend for the rest of the week. All her guests were staying up late night in eachothers rooms playing poker every night
  20. OHHHH thanks I think I found the one I want!
  21. That sucks, and the RIU is not the first resort to have that rule either. I wonder if the resorts know how much business they loose because of rules like this. Photography is on the top of almost every brides list as being the most important vendor they will hire.
