  1. I definitly vote for the canvas bag. I do like the straw bag but it would be harder to pack for sure.
  2. those are so cute I love them. Your sister Jaclyn spells her name like me, which I rarely see.
  3. We are getting married at 5:00pm in May and doing pictures between 5:30 and 6:30ish. Iv'e always preferred evening weddings. I would avoid middle of the day for sure. You will be way to hot!
  4. Christi and Mary Ann your added to the list!

Congrats on setting a date at Dreams. I'm at work right now but and only have a minute but I will add you to the list this sometime this weekend when I'm at the computer
  6. good question, I just e-mailed Mariana not 5 minutes ago wondering about the same thing. Yikes Pesos, I'm so bad at figuring out bills in dollars, I'll have to brush up on my converting monies skills before we leave. I asked Mariana if she excepted travelers checks, hopefully they do and we wont have to pay an extra fee.
  7. Thats a good location I didnt even realize they could do weddings there.
  8. They dont hand out cards. They just ask you when you order drinks by the pool or when you go to dinner what your room number is and they keep track that way. Honestly I'm not sure how this keeps people from sneaking in and abusing the whole system but really it is a small resort I'm sure if someone did try and take advantage of the system they would be noticed a lot quicker than we think.
  9. At this point I'm just glad they even except travelers checks. I'm starting to get a little nervous with all the cash we will have to bring down to Mexico. I should ask Mariana if she excepts them to. Quote: Originally Posted by angitalia23 She didn't tell me that...godo to know! Ill bring travelers check too. Thanks Jackie
  10. I was so impressed with their response time. I'm not sure if she asked me to call or not but I just e-mailed her my cc info. She did say that if I paid in cash or travelers check there would be no fee but to pay with personal check they add 5% and with credit card they add 10% in pesos. So we are planning on bringing a travelers check. Quote: Originally Posted by angitalia23 Don't they respond soooo fast! So I e-mailed Browns private services and they e-mailed me right back. Its the same, 14.00 per person we would have 2 suburbans and 1 van for 27 people to get from the resort to the Marina and then back from the Marina to the resort. Leaving 4:00pm and comming back at 8:30pm. I think I might just book with them to save me some piece of mind. I feel like the Dreams shuttle buses might get a bit confusing. I think they only run at certain times etc etc we have 27 people that need them and what if a lot of the other guests need to get place to, I dont want to get to the Marina late because the shuttle is stopping other places ya know.

We have them for about 6 hours though, so im not sure if that makes a difference. Regardless here's the link if anyone needs it: Home - Butler, Chef services and Private Transportation in Los Cabos Thanks girls, I coudnt find any info on private transportation, I'm going to check them out. I wonder if the Dreams shuttle service only runs at certain times though and what about getting back to the resort? Hmmmmm.
  13. oh wow looks beatiful. You must have had such a great time. Welcome home
  14. For any of you who are having the sunset dinner cruise or any welcome dinner cruise etc for your guests. How are you getting your guests from the resort to the Marina and back? I just e-mailed Mariana with this question and hopefully she can help me. But have any of you privatley hired drivers? If so what company did you use and do you have their contact info? Thanks for the help.
  15. Its always a good idea to have a WC and Maya is good. However if its not in your budget planning your own wedding at Dreams Cabo with all the info and vendors around here is do-able. A lot of girls are going with out the extra help of a WC but a lot of the girls are also having one, so its really just budget and personal preferance.

Don't stress about all of the small stuff. You are in good hands with Dreams. Just enjoy it, it goes by so quick. Just savor every moment...the more you stress, plan and worry...the less fun you will have. Remember it's YOUR wedding. At the end of that day, what will really be important?? For me it was just being married to my husband. I did use Juan Carlos Tapia, Suzanne Morel, and Marianna...just trust me everything will be beautiful. These people are professionals!!! I have pictures, however, not a huge fan of posting them on a website. I can email them to some of you if you are interested. I use snapfish. PM me and I will send them to your email. Nicole Cant wait to hear all about it Quote: Originally Posted by Nene Thanks for that brochure-it is soo helpful No problem

  18. OHHHH pretty I love them. My fans took a bit more time to put together than I had thought too. It seems like all my little projects have been that way though.
  19. Just thought I would add the link to my word document brochures in the Dreams Cabo thread incase anyone is doing this and needs the template or info. Brochure for guests.doc
  20. Great review sounds like you have everything under control . How fun to have gotten to see the whales.
