  1. thanks girls, I think I might be checking into the bracelets. I dont want to risk falling asleep at our welcome dinner when we are supposed to be partying it up for the night.
  2. Ok, I cant find non-drowsy dramimine anywhere! The only thing I can find is less-drowsy dramamine. Is there such thing as non-drowsy dramimine? If not will the less-drowsy dramamine put me and my guests to sleep? I'm so afraid of taking it and then yawning half the night away. Has anyone used the less-drowsy before? Or for that matter is there non-drowsy bonine or any other motion sickness medecine out there? I'm completely stumped on this one, help! PS. I couldnt figure out where to put this thread so I decided to put it under entertainment seeing as though the Dramamine would essentially be used for our welcome dinner entertainment sunset cruise.

Things that have a *partial* checkmark (mostly so I can make myself feel better about this list!) - OOT bags. I'd like to do welcome letters, a map, etc. I'm feeling a bit worn out of DIY projects, so we'll see what happens with this. - Playlists for reception and welcome dinner. This is on my "urgent" list! Things Awaiting a Checkmark: - Create welcome dinner slideshow - Small DIY projects like: letters for OOT bags, programs (? not sure if I'm going to do them), menu cards - Write up ceremony/readings. My uncle will be helping me with this since he is performing the ceremony - Write my vows - Get Aaron's ring engraved With about a month to go before we leave, I'm not sure if some of the small things will get ditched or not. Somehow, I'm not really stressed about anything... with the exception of writing my vows. Aaron is already done writing his, and I seem to be having writers block. Other than that, I feel like all the big, important stuff is done and taken care of. If I don't have menu cards, I'm not going to get upset over it!! Edited to Add: Ok, seriously, I only did TWO things in one month?!!!! lol. In my defense, I did a lot of honeymoon planning!! I feel the same way. Everything is mostly done but there are still some small things to do with not much time to do them. They might not get done at this point, but really I'm so over it. The whole planning and DIY'ing and Shopping the whole thing, the only thing I want to do now is get there and have the wedding. Quote: Originally Posted by Adinu Thanks Jackie No problem

  5. I have no advice but I do know where youre comming from. We went everywhere from the mens warehouse to banana republic to jcrew and couldnt find a suit that FI thought looked right or fit right. He has an athletic build, meaning his chest and shoulders are much bigger than the rest of his body. So either the jacket is to tight all up top and then fits in the waist or the jacke fits up top but is swimming on him everywhere else. We are still on the hunt. I loved the banana suit but he hated it I'm trying to push him in that direction but I doubt I'll win this one. Good luck! I think we have spent more time looking for his suit than I did finding my dress.
  6. that was a hard one for sure! I wish you could vote more than once.
  7. Ok, I voted up. I think they do both look great so whatever you decide will be good but up will probably be less hot and poblematic for you throughout the reception ect.
  8. we are secretly getting legally married a month before our DW. We wont be telling people because we dont want people to not think our DW day is not as special. To us we wont really be married until I walk down the aisle in a gown anyways.
  9. 1 per couple unless they are single than they get their own. With that out of 28 guests total we have 20 bags to give out.
  10. I really like the first one the best. I think its the classiest looking one out of the bunch. Understated but gorgeous.
  11. I love the first one the most. But they are so similar that I voted you should just let them decide which one suits them best.
  12. Wow, I would have loved something like this if I was in the beginning stages of planning a cruise ship DW.
  13. eveything looks great Erika, your going to have a great wedding with all the details you put into everything.
  14. those are very cute Erika. I'm sure you bm's will get a kick out of them.

This is such an awsome thread for all of us! Thanks Leia, I feel like I'm a horible moderator who is so busy between jobs and wedding planning that I'm never around the forum anymore. Yes I am so excited and I just finished my last project this past week, so now all I really need to do is go tanning and hit the gym and my fluidity big time. So I'm thinking I will add anyone new to the list and then once we get closer to 2009 I will seperate it into 2 threads since the 2008 brides wont be as active on the thread. That way it will be easier for the 2009 girls to share info and not have to read 50 thousand posts or go through 28 pages to find stuff. Does that sound good? Ok so to make a long story short. YOUR ADDED TO THE LIST!
  16. If anything I would go with the ipod speaker system set up if you feel like you need music. We are not doing our rehersal dinner at dreams but I was nervous about this to when I first started planning. I think once everyone has a couple cocktails and starts chatting it will be fun. Its like hosting a get together at your own home it takes a little while for the party to really get started but once it does its a lot of fun.
  17. I like the more romantic bouquet for sure.
  18. Congrats, thats definitly a weight off your shoulder for sure.
