I don't know if it's the excitement or what, but I'm starting to not be able to sleep. I think I just want to make sure everything is together so I'm constantly going through things in my mind. It will be over soon though.

OK, I have a little over a week before I leave for my wedding. Does any of the Moon Palace brides have any questions or requests? Do you want me to take a picture of a certain restaurant? Have you had trouble getting in touch with the coordinator and need me to ask a question for you? Post any questions or requests here and I'll try and get as many things as I can while I'm there.

Hey, Has anyone done the welcome dinner outside of the resort? Most of our guests are staying in the hotel zone, so I wanted to put together something in that area instead of our resort. I don't want it formal or anything, just something fun and reasonably priced. Doesn't even have to be a dinner. I can't remember who I was talking to, but someone mentioned that they had some type of cruise. Any ideas?

My guests are staying at different hotels too. But, the ones that are staying at the same hotel and arriving the same day. I plan on delivering them to the hotels and if someone hasn't arrived, leave their bag with friends/relatives to give them. For those who are arriving on Friday, I'm handing them out at the welcome dinner. I know it's going to be a headache trying to deliver them, but I think it will be a nice welcome to those who've traveled so far.

We are getting married at Moon Palace and switching to LeBlanc after the wedding. We have children coming to the wedding, but LeBlanc is an adults-only resort which is what we were looking for after the wedding (especially since it's so close to Spring Break).

Those pictures are too cute! Love them all. Especially the ones in the park, the Navy Pier one and the snow one. Can't wait to see the rest. Very nice...

Ditto to what everyone else has said. Your ring is beautiful and they are just rude! Some people have no tact whatsoever. I've had comments like that as well. Don't let it get to you. At the end of the day, it's not important what kind of ring you have, but the committment you all will make and the love you all will share.

Hi, I'm getting married at Moon Palace in 3 short weeks (March 3, 2007). They do have more than 1 wedding in a day, but the brides that I talked to said that everything ran smoothly and since the resort is so big it didn't really matter. There are some reviews on the forum, as well as pictures. I'll try and post the link to them. Otherwise, PM me and I'll forward some to you. It's a couple of other MP brides on here with loads of information (OneLove, gunde, etc.). I'm sure they'll be posting soon. Good luck and feel free to contact me with questions. Ann, you are so funny! Yeah, I had to hurry home to wash off all of that make-up off my face (including the fake lashes). Andre doesn't like alot of make-up, let along fake eye lashes. I was struggling to get those off and apparently left a little eye liner on. He was like, "what's on your face?". I'm like, I was just trying something new so he tells me I don't need make-up. I think he'll like it in the pictures though....or at least he better like it after all the trouble I went through trying to cover everything up!

Very cute. I'm actually considering doing this...we'll see. My mom may faint!

I love the botanical gardens and like the idea of you all playing in the snow. I'm sure you all will have lots to choose from. It sounds so nice. Poor Leigh, I know she can't wait to get back to Cali.

Just wanted to jump in to say how much fun I had yesterday. I think everything worked out perfectly and I can't wait to see the outcome. For those of you still debating, I would definitely recommend it. It was, in a sense, liberating. I think having other girls there actually helped because we were able to use everyone's ideas, and shoes, clothes, etc. So much fun!

A lady here in Chicago is making them for me. PM me if you want her number. I'm paying about $2.35 for each fan.

I'm also doing fans instead of programs. They're being created as we speak. I'm using this as my inspiration.

All of them are cute, but I voted for #1. I think it would look great on you. I love the colors and it's perfect for a welcome dinner.

The only guests that we are paying for is my future MIL and part of SIS costs. Like you, we thought that it was going to be around $6,000, but we're finding that it will be closer to $12,000. After all of the suggestions, my list keeps growing. My FH is about to have a heart attack though.
