  1. Thanks girls for the compliments. They really mean a lot to me, because I spend SOOOOOO much time on these. Here is some additional info.... I bought the pocketfolds from Cards & Pockets They are the Tiffany Metalic 5X7 signature pocketfolds. I made 2 belly bands for each invite from ribbon I bought from Michaels (I must have used 100 yards!) All the paper is metalic. I bought it from Discount Wedding Invitations, Vellum Paper, Vellum Envelopes, Card Stock Source - Paperandmore.com All the inserts are Pearescent White Card Stock. I made a postcard RSVP... Directions card to the church ceremony in San Jose del Cabo.... And an events card, on the back of which I made a calendar... The fonts I used are from Download fonts | dafont.com Titles (Scriptina and Mutlu) Subtitles (Edition) Text (Will and Grace) Motif (IM FELL FLOWERS 1). KarlaV
  2. We are honeymooning at La Palmilla in Cabo and we just recieved a paket from them. I thought it might be a cute idea for a wedding invitation. Or, for those who can afford it, maybe it can be a packet that you send to people who have already RSVPed. It had paper luggage tags, an itinerary and a form to send back with the activities we want to participate in (ie golfing, spa, dinner) I felt so special recieving it...just thought I would share with you girls. 6. I really like to snack on Zone bars. They have like 13- 20g of protein, which really fill me up. KarlaV
  7. Edyta, I also have a hard time finding swimsuits. My booty never seems to fill out the suit. Thats why I usually wear thong bikinis. Just kidding!!!!! I could never be that brave! KarlaV

OK- so i am looking for a one-piece swimsuit. Anyone know of some good sites? I kinda want it to be sexy- maybe a low plunging halter. KarlaV
  9. Christa... I love the swim suits. Where did you buy them? I bought my dress at a boutique in my town. I tried to go online to try to find it cheaper, but no luck. So I went back to the store and bought it! Edyta... post the pics of your outfits, i wanna see! I'm totally obsessed with buying a new outfit for every event in Cabo! Karla
  10. I thought this might be a good thread to start (if it hasn't been started already). Post any attire you are planning to wear during your wedding weekend. I just bought this amazing T-Bag dress. I'm going to wear it for the bonfire, Friday before the wedding. KarlaV

  12. If you are trying to order candles online and have them shipped to Mexico, that might be difficult. I have been trying to do the same thing, and I have yet to find a discount candle site that ships internationaly. If anyone knows of one...please post!! KarlaV
  13. Thanks ladies for the feedback! I'm going to set something up with the hotel's Kids Club. They will entertain the kids and feed them while their parents enjoy dinner. I also like the idea about playing on the beach! I feel sooooo much better about everything. I was really worried that the parents would be mad or something. KarlaV

But, do you think the parents would be upset that there child is ushered away during dinner? KarlaV
  15. Your totally right about the kids situtation. How can I tell the parents, "Your child is not welcomed at the adults table." But, I'm still having a hard time accepting it. Why do they have to bring their kids!!!!!!! (that was my 'But, I'M the BRIDE' vent) Can you tell that I dont have kids? KarlaV
  16. OK- I wasn't sure where to post this question, so here it goes.... I'm having a really formal sit-down dinner at the reception. We're going all out with a 6 course meal and wine parings for each course. 65 guests will be dining at one (very) long table. I feel bad, but I don't want kids sitting at the table eating with us. (am I totally evil?) So my questions are.. 1) How do I let the guests know where to sit? I mean, it is only one table, so table numbers wont work. and 2) What do I do about the 16 (yikes!) kids ranging from 2-12 during dinner? After dinner I imagine they will all be out on the dance floor, I just need some ideas of what to do with them during dinner. Any suggestions ? KarlaV
  17. I really like the idea of your necklace. I dont think its too trendy. I think it is very modern. you might want to check out Haute Bride of San Francisco | Custom, Couture bridal Accessories I found these necklaces on their website: KarlaV
