This is such a great idea guys and I will definately be joining you soon! Tammy-- Just a tip.. maybe we should start a new thread for the diet/exercise each week... i have to imagine that diet and exercise motivation is something that we are all going to continue for a long while and this thread will get veryyy long. In another forum I am on they do a new one weekly and I think it helps everyone "start fresh". It will probably also be more encouraging to newbies who want to join in the motivation as having pages and pages to go through may make someone feel overwhelmed and like they missed too much.. Just a thought! Everyone sounds like they're getting way motivated. I, myself, know that I'm not heavy but throughout college and my first year of work I have definately put on a little more weight than I would like to be carrying.. especially for my wedding!! I think it's awesome that we can all motivate one another and share food ideas and exercise tips! Happy weight loss girls!

Yes, I have heard the same.. but all of the girls said that MOST of the stuff is actually taken care of once you are there, and they were happy in the end. So if you can stay calm and not worry about every detail too far in advance, I'm sure you will be fine. **I'm trying the do the same** haha Sooo much easier said than done. I'm getting married in July 2008 *tentatively*, so we'll be on a similar timeline... if you do end up choosing the Riu we can help eachother and share bits and pieces we get from them! Good luck with your decision!!

Just wanted to throw some advice in too... I agree with what Sarah said about Riu vs Dreams. They are both absolutely beautiful and I'm sure you will love either one. One of the reasons I chose the Riu is because of its proximity to town. It's a very short drive and only a $10 cab ride. This convienience was important to me so that people can feel free to get out and enjoy town too without it being too much of a hassel. Also, I liked the fact that the Riu is a little larger because it will give people a little more breathing room. While everyone is going to want to be together alot, a week is still a long time and I think people would appreciate being able to get "away" from everyone (especially when parents/olderish kids are involed) when they choose too. Just my 2 cents. I would highly reccommend visiting both though and getting a feel for yourself!

Nicole-- It's so nice to hear that someone else was in a long distance relationship that worked out too! You hear soo many that just don't last! Congrats to you two! Yeah with us its been like two extremes because we were actually living together for 2 years during college and now we're doing to the ld thing.. so sometimes I'm so jealous of my friends whose relationships are a happy medium! Jennifer-- Yes, I couldn't believe they knew before me and no one gave it away!!

Sarah, The pictures are absolutely amazing!! Juan did such a great job capturing the two of you and how in love you are! Soo cute! It's soo reassuring too because as you and Tammy both said you take the worst pictures, I am the same way. I always look funny in pictures and can't stand taking them! But seeing the you look soo beautiful in these, I have faith for some good wedding pics!!
