I choose Cabo over Punta Cana for my wedding due to the location and close proximity to Texas and also becuase of the climate. I do not do well in humidity and it is very humid in Punta Cana. Cabo is much dryer. Other than that I may have chosen Punta Cana. It is so beautiful.

I am getting married in Cabo however I stayed at the Riu Palace Punta Cana in December 2005. It was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were not quite as full as the other resorts but it had just opened. I am sure it is more lush now. Everyone at the resort was great. The service, food, activities, and bars were all great. You can also use the amenities at the other sister properties when you stay at the Palace. The Carribean Street Party night was cool too. When you first walk in to the resort you will be blown away be the lobby. It is gorgeous. I did not see any weddings when I was there but the beaches and gazebo are very nice. Let me know if you have any questions about the resort. My fiance and I had a blast!

Hi Cassandra! Welcome to the forum. You will be able to find lots of information here. I have been to Cancun and Punta Cana in the Dominican. They are both beautiful. Punta Cana has amazing beaches, but it is very humid there. I have not been to Bermuda yet. Again, welcome.

I had all four removed. They were impacted. It is not too bad. I am a major wimp. I cannot get my blood taken or even look at a needle (even on TV). Make sure you get some good pain medicine and lots or rest after. Lots of pain medicine!

I agree with the manicure and pedicure. It was not that enjoyable. I have however stayed at 5 Riu resorts and the massages I got were great at all the resorts. I definitely recommend the massage!

I believe it opens in October. It is a hotel class Riu so you cannot stay at the Riu Sante Fe and use the amenities of the Palace. It looks very cool on the website!

My fiance and I are hosting a Welcome Dinner at the Riu Palace on the beach. They are going to set up tables, a buffet, and a bonfire. We decided to have our welcome dinner on Friday night (our wedding is on Saturday). We are not sure yet what we will do for music.
