Whoa! So the 1st of July will be dry all day!!!!!!! That's the last night for most and we definitely are going to get together. So the bars and everything are closeD?

I'm not sure which is better, but we invited all and we are going to only have some. The ones that make a difference to us. It worked out.

That is a great price. I look forward to hearing about the results. A bustle? I know I should know exactly what that means, but I don't.

OK, Ladies. I've gone back and forth on this forever! I really didn't want to hire a wedding coordinator, b/c my costs were getting out of control to begin with. Now that I have all vendors except for vase rental and transportation booked, I'm DONE. I need someone to coordinate the DJ, Mariachi, Photographer and Guitarist. Oh, and the florist and set up or whatever else I need. I think that is the problem. I don't know what else I need, and I don't want to deal with whatever it is. SHould I do it. It's worth it, right? I feel like I've had this conversation 7 times.

This is what she said. I am very happy to know you already have reserved DJ, guitarist, florist, photographer, and mariachi band but the hotel is not responsible for those vendors since we did not contracted them directly through the hotel. Please be sure to coordinate everything with them: locations for florist, DJ, schedule etc…since I will not be able to help you on that. They will have to know where to go the day of the wedding. Please confirm everything will be taken care of. Not rude or anything, but still not very helpful either. Again, she never offered me vendors before, and as you say hotel vendors are more expensive to begin with. I know that DJ Ricardo asked for her information so that he can go there before hand and look at the space. I'm not sure she will be ok with that.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to see what can work. I agree though, you would think they would be halpful and happy, but onece something isn't what the resort wants they get all goofy. She couldn't even tell me where I might be able to get some vases. Probably because I am not using her florist! AAAAAAAAAH!

Emeline, I thought, was the WC for Hilton. I'm starting to think that hotel/resort WCs are just sales people.

Ladies, I have a question about dealing with vendors and Hilton. I have outside vendors, and I'm sure that Emeline is too happy about it. Has anyone else run into this problem. For example, I told her that I had booked DJ, mariachi, florist, etc. She responded that she couldn't be responsible for them and that I had to make sure they know where to go. How do I know where they should go? She never really offered any vendors to me, and when I asked her about a photographer he was already booked.

ANy ideas about how to get rid of or at least lessen the extremely uncomfortable bloat the day after drinking? I know that not drinking in the first place would do that, but let's just pretend that isn't an option.

Ladies, We are getting married on a Friday evening. We would like to do something the day after, but not something formal. Gavin doesn't want any waiters or bartenders. he wants to be able to fill coolers with beer and grill. basically, he wants to have a party in our back yard, but in Mexico. Is this possible? The subject meant to say vases not cases I have decided to buy bunches of flowers from The Flower Cart. i don't want anything elaborate, so this is perfect. My problem is the vases. I want small vases. About 5" tall. Fun and Motivation don't seem to have anything I am looking for. Does anyone have another option? i don't want to buy them and ship them. What am I going to do with all of them afterwards?
